@Bruins de Boston

  1. It's one of the hardest sports trophies to win. You gotta have lucky bounces, avoid serious injuries, hot goaltender and all your lines contributing at the right time. It's cup or bust but we've seen it happen throughout history. Pens potential 3 peat, Orr and Esposito's Bruins, 80's Oilers etc.

  2. Its cup or bust of course lol…the bruins are not exactly a team with lots of young elite talent…also if they were on the west it would be an easier path…but theyre on the east where 5 of the 6 teams in the league that could beat them happen to play in who are younger and have more elite talent…

  3. Not being able to win 57% of each series (4 out of 7) would be a pretty big let down after winning over 75% of their games all season.

  4. Would it be a disappointment? Yes. Would I be dissapointed? No. This regular season has been so fun to watch. Obviously I’d like to see them win the cup, but even if they don’t I won’t be super duper upset cause this season has been one of the all time fun ones to watch

  5. It's hilarious the difference in coverage between this bruins team and the last few years lightning teams. The lightning make records and it's "are the lightning the greatest team of all time" and this year it's "would it be a disappointment if Boston DONT win the cup" lol. The media bias is always so clear. Especially the Canadian media. They haaaate the bruins.

  6. Yes and no. Yes, because it’s the obvious goal to win the cup. No, because the joy this season has brought this 50+ year B’s fan has been immense. 😁

  7. Let’s call a spade a spade. Nobody is stopping these guys over a seven game series and I believe that with every fiber of my being until I see evidence to the contrary. Which I specifically have not seen. I am open to be in greatly disappointed lol. But let’s be real… lots of haters just want to make up excuses to discredit them. They’ll win. And if they don’t of course it’s a monstrous disappointment. But being unwilling to accept their amazing season thus far just because they haven’t won yet is lame. I’d rather ride or die for my team and be completely destroyed if it doesn’t happen than wait for the moment they win it all to enjoy the ride.

  8. Ask the Tampa Bay Lightning that got swept by the Blue Jackets in the first round that year. If they don't win this year, next year is a good possibility.

  9. Bruins must have a chance to win the Stanley cup this year bruins must have win the Stanley cup in a record setting year

  10. Like I've said, I've got them booked in for a first round exit. Speak good things into existence right? 😅

  11. You just can’t call it historic! when the Canadians had 60 wins. No team even came close to beating that for years, until the league went to a not loser format, that in itself is the only reason the record was broken.

  12. That Habs team also was filled with HoFers. (everyone says no OT and no shootout, ok, they didn't have a salary cap and not full free agency, was limited back then) Hard to compare eras.

  13. I'm a Canes fan. Seeing the consistent quality of the Bruins this season… I think they will do it. If not, then at least a deep run. It's not like the Panthers last year where it was so inconsistent with the comebacks.
