How he got signed to that extension, while it was clear his system wasn't working shows who should go first. This needs to be a big shake-up. GM, then the new one can get a new coach/coaching staff, new scouts, and of course the odd player shuffle. Hope Stone comes back for 1 more season.

As an Oilers fan, I'm disappointed that we couldn't beat them in the playoffs, a second straight year. It was sooooo satisfying, last year. Also, it's great to see Kadri be the mule of the team. He's got the kind of face that you just want to punch, when you look at it. Sorry, not sorry. Did I piss anyone off, yet? <3
I almost put $500 for the flames to win the Stanley Cup Sutter hockey is not good he thinks he can bully every team to win the game AKA Nick Ritchie in the shootout.
Stop with the Sutter criticism. Gaudreau wanted out simply to reside in the US and Tkachuck for similar reasons, though I do wonder if there was conflict with him and Sutter. Remember Sutter was the coach in LA when the Doughty / Tkachuck feud happened. Treliving did a decent job in the off-season. Everyone believed Calgary was just as good or better. Hubredeau, Kadri and Weeger were the additions. The failure isn't on Sutter and it isn't on Treliving. It is on the players period.
Nick Ritchie in the shoot-out. Who cares. How many shoot out loses did Calgary have this year? Plenty. I would imagine they practice this and Ritchie was doing well with it in practice. Plus, the opposition wouldn't have a book on him either. Calgary didn't make playoffs this year because guys like Hubredeau, Kadri and Markstrom didn't perform. For the salaries these guys are getting, I don't care about their feelings and if they like the coach or not. They need to have a bit more self respect and perform. Period.

The quantity shots strat was fine. You need goalies to make a save. Flames goalies were the weakest by far out of any team competing for a playoff spot.

Fire Sutter. Plain and simple to do.
I like Sutter, but he's gone. You can't fire the team. This is a case of big $ players not fitting a system that does work. The players deserve the blame, but the coach will pay the price.
They decided golf was more interesting than. Showing up for over half their losses this season?

Sutter seems to live in the past where he thinks iginla is still on the ice. As far as markstrom gose he needs to stay in the fuckin net. He has turned over way to many pucks and let in stupid goals.

Kadri is absoloute garbage.. his effort in the chicago game and the last half of the season should go down in history as the smallest amount of effort you could put into something that you get millions of dollars for. how can anyone call that guy a superstar?? look at his career.. hes one of the dirtiest guys to ever play the game plus hes ugly. the flames should offer that guy up for trade plus 10 million dollars for anyone that would take such a junk player.
