Should be more hearings than that, but dipshit Parros and his acolytes have their orders.
Even if Hartman was a baddie here, the apparent retaliation and dirty hits from WPG in response were arguably far more deplorable. It’s bad for the game to have guys getting hurt on cheap shots days before playoffs.
Where was the hearing for Logan Stanley
Where’s the hearing for Pionk?
Bullshit. It was technically interference but it wasn’t even a bad hit. You rush at a guy full speed, you have to be prepared for him to not want to get hit. Hartman just… stood up. Ehlers should have kept his chin up.
I don’t think Hartman hits Ehlers if Ehlers hadn’t just gone out of his way to hit Kaprizov late. (Although the hit on Kaprizov certainly was not as hard as what Ehlers received, it was unnecessary).
I can see it from Hartman’s argument side. He just watched Kaprizov get hit late by Ehlers, figured the same thing might happen, and braces for the hit.
Interference, sure. Egregious enough to warrant 5 and game, maybe even a game suspension. I’d disagree but understand if they went that way.
Intent to injure? Nah, that’s what Pionk did.
Did they do the same when dude sat on Kaprizov?
Jets are officially my least favorite team in the central fuck these guys even the stars and Aves ain’t as dirty as these bastards. I like Trashville more than the Junk jets.
I don’t understand the inconsistency with how these things get handled
What am I missing on this Hartman hit that makes it dirty and warrant further punishment? Hartman passed the puck, turned, and saw Ehlers charging at him. Instead of taking a cheap hit from Ehlers, he stood his ground and dished more than he received. I thought the interference was questionable, let alone anything beyond that.
Out of all the garbage from the last period, this is what they are going to bitch about?
Kaprizov gets taken out for a month due to a foul hit from Stanley and nothing gets reviewed. Kap takes late hit after late hit after dirty hit from 8 all game nothing happens. Hartman sees Ehlers coming. Stands his ground. And Ehlers is just that big of a bitch that he takes the damage and Hartman gets fucking jumped afterwards and Hartman gets the hearing.
Typical. Our guys get jumped and late hits all the time and we get penalized for it.
so what was Ehlers gameplan here? he was skating full speed at hartman and made no effot to get out of the way because ehlers was about to hit hartman and got manhandled.
How is Hartman not entitled to his spot on the ice? Sorry if this is a dumb question
I really don’t understand how anyone can see this as a clean hit. I love Hartman and what he brings but this was definitely interference with intent. Especially when you factor in his reputation, you know this was on purpose. And it wasn’t a « reverse hit. » He should have asked Ehlers to fight if he didn’t like the hit on Kaprizov.
Worth it. Reaves’ uncalled boarding was dirty, and Hartman obviously put some extra into this, but the wild weren’t playing like that until Winnipeg got back on their chippy bullshit targeting Kap every shift. Reaves actually doesn’t seem to hit that much or that hard unless the other team starts taking runs.
I didn’t know the reverse hit was outlawed or is that just for Hartman?
No announcement on Pionk’s crosscheck. Clearly intent to injure, the bastard had a smile on his face and was laughing at it after he was ejected.
