  1. Good to see that with all the attention being on the physical side of the game, Nylander found room to be Willy.

  2. As a Tampa fan I saw a big big difference from the Toronto playoff team from last year and definitely heading in the right direction. With that, I think Vasy let a couple goals in that he normally stops 99 out of 100 times. Should and Hopefully will be a great series to watch. Not just for Tampa and Toronto fans but hockey fans in general.

  3. The lightning are half dead at this point, they lost half the roster against the rangers who embarrassed them, and then the islanders finished them off. The leafs just picked the carcass

  4. These guys sound delusional. The "statement" is winning the series; anything other than that is just noise.

And I'll take Vasilevskiy over Samsonov/Woll/Murray/whoever else every day and twice on Sunday.

  5. Boys this is the reason why I don’t have respect for journal writers media people etc. You guys read way to much into a single game. Playoffs and regular season are two completely different games. Until there is 4 wins on the side for the maple leafs the series is anyone’s to win. Enough with these statement games and Toronto is build differently. The last 3-4 regular season years Toronto has had a very good season however they stormed out in the playoffs. I think Toronto gets way to much praise heading into the post season until they prove me wrong I will always bet against them.

  6. Again and again we see old school people talking about being bigger, stronger, more mean and don't talk enough about skills. Praising Luke Schenn and saying Liljegren have to sit. Schenn is like 8th ninth defenseman.

Tampa has Sergachev and Hedman, them two is better than all leafs defenceman.

  7. Simple Answer YES!!! They, the leafs will now get eliminated in game 7 overtime instead of regulation time. BOOK IT!!!

  8. Doesnt matter what matters is they pull through the same way when it matters I sure do hope so

  9. Was definitely a statement game beating them with a very watered down leafs roster on the back end of a back to back
