For reference The Toronto Maple Leafs are 18-9-3 since February 1, 2023.
If im not mistaken the avs won only 1 of there last 7 games, then won the cup. Doesnt really matter

The relevant thing is Tampa only won last year because of a phantom high stick and the refs calling a pick for like the first time ever.
Additionally the Leafs have improved this year and Tampa hasn’t.
Leafs shouldn’t underestimate Tampa but we should play confident.

At this rate us getting past the first round is equivalent to us winning the cup😂 not even going to pay attention to these stats they don’t even matter. Florida had an amazing season last season just to get knocked out early, a few years ago the blues were consistently shit then won the cup🤷♀️
I love that you posted this. Way too many people here are so scared of this series because we haven’t won a round in forever. Reality is Tampa are an average team this season and there are zero reasons we can’t beat them in a best of seven. Just have to have faith the players show up with max intensity starting from the first puck drop in Game 1 to whenever this season ends. We are the better team and now it’s up to the players to prove this to be true.
That’s their tactic to get refs to help them.
