    Since the first inning the Yankees offense disappeared the entire game, had a leadoff triple in the 8th inning and couldn’t even capitalize. The Yankees deserve to lose this game here! GG Cleveland.

    The Guards not relying on the long ball wins them games. Each time you suddenly realize they have multiple men on base. It can happen and start from anywhere in the line up. Tito should be a first round HOF pick with no votes against.

    Boone is an absolute maniac with these bench/play decisions and lineup creation. This game the yankees had 4 real hitters in the lineup, followed by new callup Calhoun playing DH and batting 5th and then 4 more free outs in a row. Why can't you DH Stanton instead and slot Oswaldo in there over IFK or Franchy? It gives the impression that Boone knowingly gives up on games before they even start. Probably didn't expect much from German (reasonable, honestly) so don't push to have a real lineup that day? The games the yankees have lost so far have all been close and winnable; Boone just seems like he doesn't care, like the yankees are logistically not capable of putting a winning lineup together for 3 or 4 games in a row because everyone is so ancient and needs to rest all the time.
