    Feels like the end of an era with Pens and Caps out of the playoffs and no longer dominating.

    What now for Pens? Core is in their twilight but locked up to retire in Pittsburgh with front loaded contracts and their cupboards are bare as they traded their picks away over the years to pick up pieces for Cup runs the past few years.  

    Tough times ahead. At least they had 16 great years with pretty much potential every year to go on a run…3 Cups to show. Nothing wrong with that but now you deal with the hangover I suppose.
