  1. Obviously the guy is a solid hockey player, there's an adjustment period usually, some players adjust quickly, others take a little time, he'll be fine.

  2. lmao yes lads, write him off after 13mins of ice time in his debut jumping from college to the NHL!

Kyprios' only offering on the panel is being an ex-player. bro has negative iq with most of his takes 😭

  3. This is Simmonds last shot. Simmonds also has one of the biggest heart in the league. I can see him making a good 4th line addition even if just a couple games.

  4. The kid has skills and would have been much more impressive on many other teams but the leafs are a very good group of forwards and he looked below average in last nights lineup. Hes a pick that beat the odds and will be bonafide NHLer one day, but on this leafs team hes an emergency pencil-in

  5. Give the guy a minute, his team literally lost in the finals the previous night, went right onto the plane and ran around Florida for his prep and played the same night.

  6. Hahaha. In a perfect world we wouldn’t be trying to put a rookie, never played in to the NHL, into the playoffs. It’s insane.

  7. Send him down to the farm, the kid isn’t ready; not on this team, with all the baggage.

  8. This “it’s not right” stuff is garbage. We’re trying to win cups not a feelings contest. If the kid contributes or can contribute, let him play.

  9. The kid played without even practicing with the team. How about we wait until he has a few practices before addressing him? I do agree that it's unfair if Knies plays in the playoffs before skaters who already know the system and are playing well, but other than that, Leafs media is the worst.

  10. Man I have a hard time thinking a guy that came from College can help them at the NHL level . Against Tampa and maybe Boston this year I am with Kipper time in the AHL would

  11. After watching mistakes cost us in the past like Dermott, Galchenyuk.. you just can't play him now

  12. And, as usual, Kyper is totally wrong again. After 2 games, and against TB, he’s just fine!!

  13. Lol Kyper thinks he’s a choppy skater. Hey Kyper, you couldn’t skate at all so who the hell are you to criticize anyone’s skating??

  14. i wanna hear an opinion after game 2, changed a little bit im sure.

  15. Knies at times kinda looked pedestrian in his first game but he was noticeable… Big boy had a better game today.

  16. I don’t give a fiddlers what Kipper has to say about Knies, he’s just pissed this young lad has stepped right into the NHL
Look forward to these guys words biting them in the ass. The team didn’t move heaven and earth to not play Knies

  17. He looked promising and showed potential it was nice to see– he wasnt a game changer or like what buddy said i wasnt blown away but he definitely needs more seasoning and looked "promising"

  18. Unless hes so good that you cant not start him then he sits until a change is needed. I agree with kyper about him starting over guys who have earned it through hard work all year long. Not saying he shouldn't get a shot at some point bc he should. Just not game 1 of the pla

  19. The Leafs have skating coaches and conditioning coaches that over time will really help him develop. so in three years time he will be a really good NHLer.

  20. These guys are idiots. He has only played 13 minutes in one game with no practice. Keep drinking the maple syrup boys.

  21. I THINK HE WOULD MAKE A NICE SURPRISE ATTACK, WITH MATTHEWS, MARINER, REILLY AND BRODIE ON POINT, THE PLAY IS DUMP AND CHASE, WITH THE FORWARDS FEEDING MATTHEWS, FOR THE ONE TIMER, WITH REILLY AND BRODIE ALTERNATING RUSHES, WITH EVERYTHING COMING RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE AND MARINER AND KNIES CAMPED OUT IN THE CORNERS, THE BOLTS WOULD BE DESTROYING THEMSELVES, JUST TO TOUCH THE PUCK!!!

  22. LINE 1 – MATTHEWS, MARINER, KNIES, REILLY AND BRODIE
LINE 2 – TAVARES, O'REILLY, NYLANDER, MCABB AND HOLL
LINE 3 – BUNTING, KERFOOT, JARNKROK, SCHENN AND GIORDANO
LINE 4 – SIMMIONS, EVERYTHING ELSE AND TIMMIONS #7

GO LEAFS GO, I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT… NOW OR NEVER!!!
