That’s a bummer. Probably gonna retire after this season.

Did they not get the memo of the Tampa Blueprint lol

Oilers literally have a free pass to the cup finals when they’d likely be out in the first round if they were in the east lol

Team is still incredibly dangerous. Everyone except Landy will be back for round one.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

  8. I was afraid it would come to this. It will be a real test for this team. That said, they’ve already spent an entire season learning how to manage without Landy. Could we use him on the ice and in the room? Hell yes! Can we still do it without him? Yes, I believe we can. Several of the guys have stepped up their game and, just as importantly, their leadership this season. With almost everyone but Landy ready by round one, I think the Avalanche are still going to be extremely formidable.

And suddenly teams like Edmonton’s Stanley cup odds rise by 5%.🫡

Super tough break for Avs. I really thought they could go for two in a row. This a big opportunity for oilers who are on a heater

Some of you all may not remember in 2001 when Foppa went down with a ruptured spleen. Probably the guy you wanted most on the ice in all the world in the playoffs back then…guys buckled down and it took to Game 7 at home to win it all but they did.

Can the Avs use this as motivation???
