this is the year i feel it like the 2019 raptors
This is the least worried I’ve been heading into the playoffs for as far as I can remember.
My butthole is only like, 97% clenched.
Something feels different about the team this year. I think it’s our bottom 6. It no longer feels like a retirement bus for aging superstars. Every one on that bottom 6 is a tough sob to play against.
Also, McCabe just solidified our top 4 which was lacking before.
There will always be unforeseen events, injuries, puck luck, odd bounces, missed calls, and the will of the hockey gods.
But I like this team’s chances. It’s the best we’ve seen in awhile.
Matthews looked phenomenal last night. His puck control was amazing. He looks very fit.
if Nylander shows up like he did against the Rangers….it’s going to be pretty
