What fucking losers. Why would you not donate all that money? Charging this much will piss people off a bit, but if knowing it was being donated then that is an easy one to swallow
Disappointed. I understand the issues with free admission and unlimited capacity, but nothing can match the energy of 30000 people gathered in the street. Even game 2 of the Minnesota series in 2018 had 9000 people.

Nice. Looks like fun!
I’ll be coming to town for game 4
Gotta squeeze as much profit from it as possible.
Disappointing to see, but not especially surprising. I likely won’t be attending.
Twice the cost and a third of the people!? Wtf??? And they wonder why people aren’t showing up to games. True North is single handedly killing their own brand man I swear to god.
A 10$ ticket is whatever I don’t care but I don’t understand why there will be a smaller capacity. Like 15k down to 6k?.
Death
Taxes
Manitobans complaining about stuff not being cheap or free.
I would rather NOT have the city or province front this bill. The Jets sure are won’t do it for free.
Kinda cuts out low income people again.
5000 * $5 is only $25,000
There is absolutely ZERO chance it only costs them $25,000 to run this.
Did they announce the dates?
Honestly I’m fine with these changes. It was a little too cramped for my liking and line ups for drinks and food were ridiculous. This should make things flow better
Wish I could make it Manitoba bros. If they are still playing by May long Ill be there. Until then Ill be waving the Jets flag here in Alberta much to the dispair of all the local Flames fans. But they will be on my side if we face the Coilers
This is unfortunate. They should be trying to make this as big as possible. Like someone else mentioned the more people the better the energy. Looks awesome on TV too.
Well that’s a bummer for me. Seems like shooting themselves in the foot making it so small and pricing (some) people out of it. 40000+ people was amazing for the downtown that first year, kinda seems like we’re moving backwards. Do other cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton etc) place the same limitations on their watch parties?
They turned what was an awesome city wide event into a completely soulless corporate event. Really drives home how special the 2018 run was. Just pure energy. 5k is sad.
