  1. This is a man that doesn't give a FUCK about a cup. Landy is our leader. Landy is our way forward. We all pray about his knee, he all pray about his health.

  2. Avs are toast!!! LoL!
Either Dallas or Edmonton will take the avs out, no problem

  3. Firstly, I wanna give a huge shoutout to you Johnny. Once again you’re here at the forefront with hockey news I didn’t even know I needed to know, cheers bud. Secondly I wanna say this is absolutely devastating to hear, as both a Blues fan, and as just a lover of the game. The Avs for me are a love-to-hate kind of team, in terms of their history, alumni, and the competition they’ve brought to the field, especially against my blue notes. Gabe has always struck me as such an amazing person and player, and I believe I stand with all of STL and the hockey community in saying that I wish him the utmost best in moving forward through this tough time in his career with Colorado and as a gamer

  4. as an avs fan.. landy is the heart and soul of this team, i'm devastated. i hope he comes out stronger from this, whenever that may be. and i hope they win the thing again for him.

  5. At least his career isn’t over let the man heal up and he’ll be ready for next year!!!

  6. That window doesn't need to be open. They already went through said window and won the cup. I hope the avs fall. Move aside and let somebody else win. Bye bye Gabe, don't let the door hit you

  7. Landeskog has managed to make such a good impression, that even if he is not on the ice whatever specifics of his leadership he imparted on his team still remain. He’s managed to lead the Avs to victory, without being directly on the ice. Some leaders make their presence know while present, others while not present, and a for a fewer bunch while both.

  8. Anyone who says "oh wipe your tears with your money" doesn't know anything about pro sports…PLAYING IN THE SHOW IS MORE THAN MONEY. It's a fucking DREAM. You hope to touch the holy grail of sports before you wake up from the fever dream that is the NHL.

  9. Well you slipped up again because you said colorado was trash the year they got Mackinnon. They won won the central in his debut season bud.

  10. Time foe other people to have that winning feeling. Like you said. They got money to wipe their tears away. Imagine if everyone had this kind of support to help them through their career.

  11. At some point you all need to quit chalking up ALL of the Avalanche injuries YEAR after YEAR to "bad luck". They are poorly conditioned and fragile. It stems from a poor strength and conditioning program. S&C coach Casey Bond does not produce good results.

  12. The Avs are doing just fine without 'Odin', I'd rather have a healthy Landeskog next year then a marginal player now. Long term thinking here and when we three-peat, all concerns will fade.

  13. I have never liked Landy. I think we should have traded him and kept Kadri. This only proved my point further. As a captain he is medium of the pack as a scorer and assists. There are tons of other captains that are just better. You gave a massive contract to the captain who hasn't contributed and now the Avs are poised to retake the #1 seed in the West again without him. The amount of defensive help we could have gotten for him was massive. In the meantime, Rant has more than proven to be Captain material.

  14. Landy is the only guy in NHL history to play in the league for 15 seasons yet still be in his 20’s lol.

  15. Its not like he cant go into the locker room and talk to the boys even tho he doesnt play

  16. Might be a Hot Take but I like how the Avs look without Landy anyway. He has Tkachuk-esque tendencies sometimes

  17. the Avs are still dangerous even without Makar and Landeskog. I wouldn't count the avs out just because we don't have 2 of our top players. The chemistry on the lines has been insane lately.

  18. I think that his Avs teammates are going extra hard now on playoffs for him. So it can be ironically their big boost.

  19. What is that crazy "whoop whoop" sound they play everytime the avalanche score? It's so annoying. Do they think it makes them trendy or cool? If I was a season ticket holder I would call and demand that they change it because I wouldn't want to be associated with that.

  20. Annoying click bait title but good video I guess. Landeskog is a beautiful man.

  21. That season we dont talk about, landy was doing post game media availability every game, even on those losses where he was the only one left in the locker room. Such a good guy

  22. As a Habs fan I feel for him and the fans hopefully he can come back healthy for Avs fans and they don’t have to go through what we had too with Weber and Price

  23. 2:22 makar's been injured… Why not mention Rantanen instead, who's got some real experience, who actually does something for the team?

  24. Landeskog plays too physical for his size just like Forsberg and his career will end short because of it

  25. It would've been mice to see landy play just 1 regular season game just so he can say that he played

  26. MacKinnon should absolutely NOT ever be the captain of the Avalanche. I love him and the team, but Landeskog is an actual good leader unlike MacKinnon. I was so confused when Landeskog was made captain but it definitely worked out and he's the perfect captain for the team. Mackinnon is just the best player of the team, that definitely doesn't mean he should be captain, especially since he's a proven terrible leader.

  27. As a Kings Fan it reminds me of Dustin Brown and Kopitar. You have the humble leader Brownie who can communicate and model being a captain on and off the ice while Kopitar keeps putting the puck in the net during those 2012 – 2014 cup runs.

  28. I feel your pain. My Habs went to the Cup finals a couple years ago. Immediately after the playoffs we lost our Captain, Shea Weber (forever) and we also lost the best goalie in the world, Carey Price. Imagine that kind of hit to the team? My team still hasn't recovered

  29. We ain't crying about that 2016 season we got cale makar for it it was worth it
