So from a high of 27,000 down to 5000 and all the so-called interested parties think that’s gonna work?

10$ and only 5000???? Why am I even gonna show up then. Good ol corporations, taking something lovely and monetizing it to death :/
It would suck if 20k people just kinda showed up and made their own ad hoc party.
I gotta believe they’ll up the capacity as demand grows. If you have a capacity of 10k but only sell 8k tickets it doesn’t sound great, but making a big deal about ‘wow now the capacity has doubled to 10k due to our passionate fans!!’ sounds way better.
That’s an embarrassing statement made by the Jets and City.
No one party hosted 27,000 people in 2017-18
Honestly this is really good for restaurants in Winnipeg. Last time around *so* many people went to the arena that restaurants in every other area of the city were dead. Now, it’s going to spread it out a lot more.
