    Eventually you run out of ways to lose, so either Leafs win or they blow a 3-0 series lead.

    The thing with Murray is his health. You cant rely on a guy that is made of glass, especially in the playoffs. I'm more confident in Woll being the back up.

    This is looking to be an exciting series. The story is there. Will Tampa continue to be successful in the post season? Or with Toronto break through and avenge the series lose from last year? The Leafs are looking good but you can't count out the Lightning. I'm picking Toronto in 6

    I think this is Toronto's best chance to move past round one unless Tampa miraculously resurrects itself. However, barring Boston losing in a first round shocker, this still isn't Toronto's year.

    Really liked your breakdown of Toronto/Tampa. I'm a Sabes fan and I like where I see they're going, but really looking forward to the playoffs. I think you're right this matchup should be a good to start.

    At this point, Steve Dangle and his end of season rants are the only reason i ever root against Toronto in the first round of the playoffs.

    I need to see Toronto lose in the first round. It's tradition. The fans of the league are owed this for tolerating TO media and fans all year.

    Something feels different this year. TB doesn’t seem to be flying as high as years past and maybe Toronto can pull a fast one. Either it’s a sweep for one team or it’s going to game 7 no in between

    Tampa at their best are a class above Toronto at theirs, BUT I don't think Tampa can keep it up for an entire series this year. Toronto in 6.

    Never forget the Zebra factor. How blatant are the refs going to be in Tampa's favour? We already know it wont be 50-50, the question is will it be so bad that it will cost the Leafs the series?

    So many good 1st round series. I'm a Leafs fan but more interested in the Rangers vs Devils (can't handle another games 7 for the Leafs).

    It's honestly disingenuous to compare the current leafs to other teams who struggled to win a cup in the past because the Leafs have literally done nothing but choke in the playoffs whereas all the teams you compare them to had success in the playoffs, they just took a few tries to go all the way.

    I’m thinking Tampa is running out of gas. They’ve been to the final for 3 years straight which is amazing but eventually wears on the body. These guys aren’t getting any younger.
