I’m thankful for modern recording services. Anything 7pm or earlier on a weeknight, I’m usually in, otherwise that’s getting watched with supper the following day.

I work until 6:30-45 mountain zone, and the 8:30 starts are a blessing. Nothing is worse than missing half the game while your still at work. You give me a matinee or a 5:30 start and you’ve ruined my whole day. More 8:30 starts please!
Anything to pander to the east coast
NHL has to fix this. It’s insane to have to watch a game start a 9pm in the central! I understand if it were out West, do better NHL.

Being a Wings fan in MI in the 90s (when they were the only western conference team in the eastern time zone), it was difficult when they regularly matched up with teams on the west coast and half the games started at 10 or 1030pm.

I swear the NHL hates western teams so much if the ducks played the rangers in a final they’d still start the games in NY at 930 east just so nobody would watch the ducks
