Man, the Stars sub is NOT happy right now. 🤣
Over 460 man games lost. No captain. Not replaceable players. Makar, MacKinnon, Lehkonen, Byram, Nuke, Frankie, etc missing a significant amount of games. Shame to anyone that thought this team would miss the playoffs.

Man I am so impressed with this team. I was kinda feeling the cup hangover myself at the start of the year, kept telling myself it ain’t no thing we’ll just coast to the postseason. And then the injuries just kept on coming but the boys kept fighting. Bednar deserves just as much credit as the players. Go Ass!
With the assist on Nate’s second goal, Girard set a new career high with 31 assists for the season to go along with his 6 goals for the season, also a career high.
I still miss Ryker in the studio with Keefe. His jokes and energy were always chippy and fun, and now they’re just picking on Keefe for sweating. :/
Bought tickets for my Squid-loving husband for Thursday when we were up 3-1. We were both biting our nails after that. Nate’s hatty made me scream almost as loud as when we won the WCF last year! Fuck, I love this team!

I know Jim Montgomery will probably win the Jack Adams but our guy Bednar should be a close second. Taking a team that is missing their captain, missing the best Dman the league has seen since Orr and the million other injures and yet we still won the division and almost the conference.

Best part of not playing Mild is the time difference. No 5pm start times for me is a life saver. I can live with 6pm/7pm starts.

Also finished with 42 goals (the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything)… and 69 assists.
You couldn’t have written a better storybook ending to our regular season. Just wow.

Really proud of the boys. Mikko was just an absolute monster this year. He’d win the Hart if Jesus hadn’t returned to earth and embodied a certain center in Edmonton. Georgie might just be that guy that steals a series or two and gives the Avs the goaltending they’ve been missing since 33. I’m pumped!
