Hate to see it but toronto looks like they'll blow the lightning right out of the water. They came out strong as fk last year. Top players popping off heavy like you see in the successful runs… I think they changed the mentality with this year's moves. Welp, I won't be a sore loser if yall win. If they remain dominant and completely lose that choke mentality, they're a cup team, I believe. (This is the nicest you'll see me ever about Tor). I'll take a TOR v. EDM in the finals

Steve holding his face in his hands during the predictins is all of leafs nation. I felt that deep within my soul, because i think it sort of says the quiet part out loud. It HAS to be leafs in 6 because if it goes to 7.. leafs lose. It's the sinister entity that haunts this team's fate's bidding.
In my opinion, the leafs must make the conference finals this year. And you know what, because this is the NHL the leafs beat Tampa in 7 and then they beat Boston In game 7 in overtime

I'm not really rooting for either team. I admit it will be entertaining to see the Leafs lose again, because misery loves company (Go Sens!) lol. That being said, you guys have such an amazing team this year compared to Tamps that I'm going to be more surprised by it going to six or seven than the Leaf's winning in four or five. Tampa isn't the team they were last year, and you guys are (somehow) even better than you were. Even if somehow it does go to seven, the Leaf's are much better at finishing this year. Barring significant injuries to the Leaf's, there's no way Tampa wins this year. Not going to happen.
Reminds me of Washington always having to go through Pittsburgh…in the leafs case it’s anyone in the 1st round…I wonder how many teams have gone to the Stanley cup finals after beating the leafs in a game 7. A few atleast….Maybe Toronto should shut the door on the media completely! Drown out the noise.
Tampa fan here, the Leafs have all the pressure on them this series. Let's see how they handle it. Looking forward to game 1.
