We're at the point where there's a generation of Canucks fans who don't remember how exciting the playoffs are for the city. Next year will be huge for this franchise – good or bad.
If they suck again next year they have to trade Hughes to NJD. Its sad he isnt in the playoffs with his bros. get fair value and enjoy a sick trio is worth more than him wasting 80point years and then golfing

Use every draft pick to draft a defenseman in 2023. Spend in F.A and get 1more defenseman. Then trade a prospect for a defensive prospect from another team. That should be enough talent and fresh faces that the new staff can infuse in a camp
I love this team
really like the idea of Tolopilo/Silovs behind Demko. Seems to be a safe bet to ride a huge young eastern goalie like the other rebuilding teams if Demko struggles again.

still not clear to me why the Boudreau-led second-half team of 2022 turned into such a terrible Boudreau-led first half of the season this time. Was it just Demko?
Demmer needs a better start. His starts the last 2 seasons have been rough. And OEL played with zero urgency when the games mattered
Hughes should be the next captain, no offence to Peaty but Hughes I think wants it, and shows he is the guy to do it.
