Dang it: everyone, including Steve and the guy who got cut saying it was Nino Niederreiter who did the high sticking, but on the replay you can clearly see him react to getting hit when Brodin's stick goes into his face. Nino's stick is never anywhere close to his face

That CANNOT BE blamed on Carter Hart. He left the puck with his teammate. Not Harts fault his Teammate had a TOTAL BRAIN FART and tried to play Hacky-sack with the hockey puck. Just like on Lingren. He did what he was trained to do. Granted the smarter play would be to gently push it to ur Dman who's right there 10feet away. But he didnt and NO ONE helped him out either. The Markstrom one 100% his fault. No one can defend him on that. He does the SAME MORONIC PLAY every game it seems like.
Markstrom didn't cost the Flames the playoffs , the whole team just weren't good enough all year long . And even if they had won that game they still wouldn't had made the playoffs .

The Charlie Lindgren thing was an overraction. He played the puck well. Might have taken a funny bounce which dropped it down lower. But he still squared up in time. That tip would have scored that goal regardless of if he just shot it around the boards. And I'm the farthest thing from a Caps of FLA fan
On to something there, Steve. If you're attacking, chip the puck ahead and see if you can bait the goaltender into playing it. Hang back, but not so much that you can't get there on time.
