Canucks media has to be some of the worst in the league. We have some good ones, but some of the others… oof.
Sucks for Pearson but good on them for making him available to the media or for him volunteering to be in front of the media.
Ever think Kuzmenko is telling Mikheyev "these guys are jokes etc etc ..the way he laughs when talking with Mikheyev etc
I think Tocchet was really hard on Kuzmenko this year. He would have never treated Boeser the same way and his fitness isn't great and he struggled for most of the year. So why was Kuzmenko Tocchet's punching bag? Interesting way to treat your leading goal scorer
The media are just so tone deaf. What they think the public want to hear and what they actually want to hear are two different things. Read the room, leave Pearson alone. Nobody cares for details, let the guy heal and let private conversations stay private
For some reason everything Kuzmenko says makes me laugh. He is just a funny dude 😂
Myers doesn't belong on NHL ice anymore
We have the worst media out of any major sports organization. They're not even asking particularly good questions, they're just being assholes.
Canucks high water mark under Boudreau was 1 game over .500 before they collapsed and Boudreau was fired. And that's exactly where they finished the season. 1 game over .500. Gonna have to be at least 10 to 15 games over to snag a playoff spot next season.
Out of all the giraffes in the world the Canucks chose Tyler Meyers.
I think Canucks media is like a cancer to the organization. Just brutal treatment of the players. Leave Pearson alone- ask him a question, let him answer vaguely then toss him some softballs- but stop opening up the scab and pouring salt on the wounds. Same with Kuzzy… Forget about firing the coaches and management- fire the media and get some people in there who know what it's like to be humane. They gave management a hard time for how they treated Bruce- yet it was their constant picking at stuff that made things awkward for everyone. Same thing with Tanner- and they will do the same with Kuzmenko- and maybe Petey too– When Horvat made his comment- He was tossing shade at the media here== the media are toxic and make it a toxic place to play. Fire'em all!
Why is Myers talking like he will be back next season? Big condolence to Pearson tho, hope Pearson is back next season.
Myers enjoys talking the talk, but his performance all year round is anything but. He’s a veteran amongst his teammates and he should be front line and center bringing his game to the highest level, but he hadn’t done that, in fact he’s part of the problem. So all this talk for the media is so he can sleep better at night and the media has something to write on paper, or keyboard. The team should trade him after his bonus, coz no team will want him with that $5M hovering over his head. He better start making his list of 10 teams after his no trade clause expires, management is gonna lose the dead weight.
Do these reporters want Pearson to break his hand again? Maybe on one of their faces?
