I can see this going 7 games. Devils pull it off barely.
Los Angelas ,Colorado, St Louis, Washington all have something in common and won the Stanley cup and that’s being one of the most physical teams in the league. If NJ advances to the next round I don’t see them going all the way to the finals. There just not built for playoffs.
Go Rangers!
I am standing with Kristy here: DEVILS, IN FOUR! Yes, it’s a BOLD prediction but, the Devils have not even shown their next gear. Prepare to be absolutely GOB-SMACKED, when NJ fires up their playoff engines. Hughes? MVP.
It's pretty simple rangers defense shows up rangers wins in 5 games rangers def doesn't show up devils sweep, but devils will need to keep their heads up or trouba and baby trouba will take their heads off
The Nate Bastian take was so true. As a devils fan I can’t explain it but they are a completely different team when he’s in the lineup
She listed the Rangers stars but no Mika who's literally their best player 😅. Not flaming her, its insane to me how he flies under the radar, I notice a lot of people tend to forget he exists while he posts amazing numbers and has such an impact on making plays happen on the ice, defensive and offensive. Biased as a Ranger's fans, but I think the Rangers take it in 6 or 7. I think NJ comes out hotter but over the course of the series, but it's on the Rangers to make adjustments. The Devils have that pop, but I think the Rangers can figure them out and neutralize their puck possession advantage to a degree.
Fully prepared to eat my words, NJ looks scary
The Rangers rush defense is not good. The Hockey Writers even wrote a recent article identifying this, backed by stats but this is not a secret. The Devils offense feeds off of the rush/transition offense. Devils win this in 6.
disagree with the "win now mode" mindset
Shesterkin being as insanely hot as he was last season was the reason the Rangers made the conference finals last season. Rangers are overhyped and overrated. Devils in 5.
Expect the Rangers to be putting more shots on goal. The Rangers are deeper with 4 quality lines. The Rangers know from experience what playoff hockey intensity is all about, the regular season is meaningless the playoffs are a different animal. I think that the winner of this series will hoist the Stanley Cup. Grit wins in the playoffs and is distributed evenly throughout the Ranger's roster. I going to take the recent playoff run as motivation to propel them to excel. Giving Tarasenko and Kane a legitimate shot at a cup as motivation will bring out their best. The Devils have a dynamic team that will be a challenge to beat but, the Rangers may be the most complete team in the NHL. Rangers in 5.
the kid line is extremely overrated by Ranger fans, Chytil is good but the other two are nothing special at all, and they really didn't give NJ much trouble at all this season
New Jersey has sucked for so long. So its cool to see them back in the playoffs.Theyre going to be a force for years to come. New York reminds me of the old RedWings teams where they can roll four solid lines at you, loaded with depth, All Stars and future Hall of Famers. As an outsider my intuition says New Jersey isn't going to make it easy but New York and experience wins in a tough 7 game series.
NJ is physical the have Lazar and Meier now do your research Rangers turnovers and leads they give up will make it easy for NJ to win this plus NJ is the better team this year overall and head to head. Yegor short handed goals in two games bold prediction .
Cool pronouns, Erin.
Don`t forget, the NYR 'kid line' were all 1st round picks so we shouldn`t be surprised of how good a line they are.
The key to this series lies with the Devils Penalty Kill and staying out of the box.
Erin said the average a point a game in April.
Ranger goals total. 261
Pp goals. 59
Even. 202
% 22.6%
DEVILS TOTAL GOALS. 278
Power play goals. 46
Even. 232
% 16.5%
The Rangers need to Power Play. They generate 22.6% of their goals that way. Zibanijad has more than half of his goals on the pp.
Devils are a 5v5 scoring machine. Stay out of the box and the series is wrapped up in 5
Kirsty is full blown retard 🤣🤣🤣 The only 'sweeping' will be Hughes sweeping out the locker room when the Rangers are playing in the conf` semi final
Rangers in 4! LGR! Shesterkin has really turned it up a notch over the past month or so, coming in hot, he’ll continue the good play and shut down the Devils.
and her name states her pronouns……… And I click off
