Carrière terminée trop tôt. Quatre saisons, 1 but, 4 passes, moins-3, 7 minutes de pénalité.

Nothing but respect for a guy who decided that a life with his kid and family were more important than continuing a career that was going to put it all at risk.
Ferland had his day in the sun and wisely got out before he burst into flames.
God Ferland caused nothing but troubles for us in that playoffs, even if we had no business being there, especially with the McDavid draft, but still.
Not many players can get under the skin of players without being a pest.
Thank you for trying, Ferland. I’m still learning that health is more important than career, lol
I actually met him at park royal, I was super awkward and didn’t know what to say but he made it a really comfortable situation, just a great guy all around
I loved his energy coming here and the love he had to put on the jersey…. To bad we couldn’t see this Ferland
I wish him the best but my goodness I can’t believe we signed him to that contract
I remember being quite excited to bring him in and couldn’t believe he came back for game 1 of the bubble after the team said he was done for the season
I’m glad the NHL has guaranteed contracts, and this circumstance is the biggest reason why. Micheal had his career shortened by concussions, it’s not like he can easily do something else.
I didn’t want him signed in the first place but I knew Benning would do it the second he could. Micheal tried to be a good player for us, and it seems like he’s got a good start on his coaching career.
Best of luck Ferland, you’re always welcome back to visit.
I wish him success in all aspects of life anyone with that much heart and grit will do well, just keep the demons away buddy
I was in LA in his last game he ever played. Great fight. Great player.
