i was 7 years old when the rangers won the cup in 1994. I grew up playing hockey and followed the Rangers all the way to this point. You could see the team begin to grow once they acquired Lundqvist, and this was their pinnacle. After they lost to the Kings in the finals, that was the end of this great era. It was a really exciting time to be a Rangers fan, and this video brings back those days so well. So sad to never have seen the King lift the cup with the Rangers, i would have cried had i saw it.

The Rangers were going to win the Stanley Cup if Zucc was healthy and it would've been one of the most dramatic runs in the playoffs.
The first round ended with a playoff OT home goal, honestly couldn't have written it any better.
The second round had Kreider tie the game with less than 2 minutes until they were eliminated and they ended up winning in OT. Then came a miraculous effort to win Game 7 in OT. Another well written story.
It's just a shame they couldn't finish Game 7 in the ECF.
Watching this in 2021 waiting for more playoff memories like this

breaks my heart to this day that we didnt win it all this year. this team was magical. Stepan's OT goal is easily my favorite rangers moment of the last decade. especially because stepan was always my favorite player.
