This SHOULD be Leafs in 4, and I actually believe that this team is different. Don Cherry was right. We had too many Europeans and were too soft. Those problems have been addressed.
It's gonna come down to Samsonov, let's be honest. If he plays at the same level or better than he did during the season, the Leafs will win this series. I love Sammy, he's had a hell of a season, top 10 goalie in the league. He has it in him 100%, but now it's just about execution.
The rest of the lineup I have full confidence in.

So….I had a dream….the Leafs beat Tampa…..they SLAYED the 1st round dragon…..then they had to face ANOTHER DRAGON….the Boston Bruins…..and they SLAYED that one too….then I woke up. Go LEAFS!!!!!!!!!
This is most vulnerable I’ve seen the Lightning. The leafs should win this series without issue especially with the 6 new players they got at the trade deadline. The team is now built for playoff hockey. If they don’t get to the final then I’m not sure what they could do?

I think you it perfectly. The leafs players that have been there a few years do sound different. If Bunting can stay out of the box and out D make better passes and lay it all out there I honestly believe they win the 1st round. I know you didn't mention Woll but him as a backup is good too. He's played really well and seems to be zoned in.
The coaching is the wild card in this series. Keefe is an inferior coach and will fail to inspire and motivate. Tampa in six.

The Leafs shouldn't be focused on slaying their demons but rather embrace duality and make allies of their demons and use them to help them overcome. I've never been stronger than when my demons are an army backing me up instead of fighting against me, if you're busy fighting them you get stuck in your own head and can't focus on what you should be doing.
When I get into a tough situation where I need strength I literally imagine my demons standing behind me like the 300 from Hell armed to the teeth ready for war against anything that gets in my way. I'm not scared of you, you should be scared of us…

One thing I really noticed about this season and maybe not spoken about due to the "Don`t Jinx It" mantra, was the lack of the usual 3rd period meltdown when the Leafs have a lead of like 3-1 to start the third to only end up losing. This has been the bane of every leaf fan dating back to the late Pat Quinn days (for me) and likely earlier for the 80's and 90's fans I would suppose… I really haven't noticed it at all this season? well maybe 2 or 3 times at most but It's been noticeably well below the past amounts. If this carries over into the post season the Leafs will be a team to reckon with.

Two things that worry me. Keefe getting outcoached and I'm concerned about our stars being clutch this year. Sammy will have a great series. Our 3 and 4 lines will absolutely do their jobs. With that being said. I'll never bet against the leafs. Leafs in 6.
I like 3rd and 4th line matchup against Tampa. Defence is more durable and overall build better for the playoffs this year.

Morgan Rielly is gonna absolutely tear this series up. He trades Leaf's high danger scoring chances for some for the Lightning, which is where our goalie thrives and theirs does not. Incoming 3+ goal series again LFG
This is the best Leaf team in 5 years and this is the worst Lightning team in 5 years. If you can't do it this time then when can you?
