[JFresh] Je trouve extrêmement idiot que la question pour le trophée Hart semble souvent être « l’équipe aurait-elle fait les séries éliminatoires sans ce joueur? » selon cette norme, hudson fasching devrait être un concurrent Hart

    Fasching for the Hart!

But… Hudson Fasching should arguably be a Hart finalist

I think it would be silly to make that the only qualifier, just as it would be silly to make any single metric the lone qualifier.

I don’t think it’s silly to take it into consideration along with everything else, though. If it comes down to a handful of similarly skilled/rated players, why shouldn’t it matter if one of them made a larger impact on their teams success?

Isn’t that a big part of what « value » is?

The Hart trophy is literally “the player most valuable to their team”. The Oilers would be a lottery team if not for McDavid. He’s far and away the best player every year, let alone a world class season this year specifically.

Brock Nelson is more important to this team than a 3rd or 4th liner. I get Fasching has been solid and clutch, but let’s not fall into overrating our own bottom 6-ers again. Remember last year when the Islanders fan base lost their shit when we released Austin Czarnick?
