Que les chances soient toujours en notre faveur 👀
Friedman on 32TP: "I think the NHL would be very happy if Connor Bedard ended up in Philly, that's a big time hockey market…Philly is a big, big intense, sports-loving, hockey-loving market, near, sorry West Coasters, the East Coast media hub of North America".

Would feel weird if they rigged it this way, even though I’d love to have Bedard
Oh there’s going to be fuckery.
I’m still salty that the Pens were in the danger of bankruptcy and then after having high picks the years before, getting Malkin and MAF, they win the lockout lottery and get the best prospect in a generation? FOH.
Bring on the fuckery. Bedard is going to a hockey town. No way he’s going west.
Well then I sure fucking hope it’s rigged.
First time reading that I just assumed the author accidentally wrote Philly but meant somewhere else. I would love Bedard here obviously but no way that happens. Can you imagine if Arizona won the lottery though? Ugh I have to believe the NHL would at the very least rig it so they don’t have first overall.
It fucks up our rebuild! We only have 2 playoff level defenseman in provy and seeler! We need to stay bad for a few seasons!
1000% rigged if we get top pick. And I’ll cackle all the way to hell
Don’t do this to me
Well they rigged Kane and Crosby to help keep those poverty franchises afloat.
The fix is in
Me too
This is the butter you up before we rug you moment.
The league is wasting McDavid in Edmonton. They’ve lost ground to every major sport and MLS over the past 20 years.
They would be insane not to do everything in their power to put Bedard and Fantili in Philly and Chicago.
That said I fully expect them to blow this opportunity on their version of magic beans, Arizona.
No kidding, obvious man.
Weigh down that ping pong ball!l or envelope or whatever!
I, for one, would like the league to rig the draft for the Pennsylvania team that hasn’t had the draft rigged for them yet!
I like to think that the NHL are rigging these lotteries. It’s just too much of a coindidence that when the Pens and Blackhawks struggled mightily they got the first overall pick in a draft highlighted by a generational talent. From a commercial standpoint it would also make zero sense to have Bedard in AZ or Anaheim. And if I’m not mistaken the #7 spot has never won the lottery before so I guess it’s about time 😛
God damn I miss watching good hockey. Bedard is a pipe dream though. 6.5% is not going to get it done.
I’m fine with the NHL rigging this draft in our favor.
