Good for Di Giuseppe who seems to have found a spot in the lineup under Tocchet. Abby probably wanted him for playoffs but it’s definitely not worth the risk of losing him now for nothing

They didn’t want another Lane Pederson situation.
A solid, cheap bottom 6 option with the ability to play up the lineup come injuries. Guys like him and Joshua are the type of players we need in those roles.
PDG definitely fit in way better than I expected on the JT line. He doesnt have the skills or production to ever produce well enough but he had good enough possession skills and supported line well defensively as well.
Gotta feel good for PDG there
He’s certainly *delivered* this season.
I thought PDG made the team during his first training camp, and misfortune/bad timing is the only reason he hasn’t cracked the NHL roster before this season.
