  1. Overwhelming favourites lol…uh oh this Game 7 choke is gonna be even more painful than last year for Toronto fans and media haha

  2. Dumb just dumb. Fools will fall for this deceitful rhetoric by the poisonous media. Leafs fans don’t fall for this, these guys ain’t no favourites. They have yet to prove they have the intestinal fortitude to close a series.

  3. Can we stop with this favourite crap…i want our leafs to win but lets not over estimate their abilities at this point in time

  4. Samsonov is always on his knees…he is not very good…ur defence is suspect…and ur fowards lach toughness…

  5. Since when is a team that can't get past the first round favorites?! I really hope you fans arnt drinking this kool-aid.

  6. You don't get to be a better favourite than having a 3-1 series lead over the 18th place team (the Canadiens) in the playoffs lol and look how that turned out

  7. Last season maple leafs finished five points ahead of Tampa this season Maple Leafs finished thirteen points ahead of Tampa because the lightning where losing a lot games here and there which could be there down fall this time that could Toronto advantage go Leafs go

  8. They’re hyping up expectations and tbh should not be a favourite. I’ve been a fan of the Leafs for 25+ years, just a lot of this comment section. We’ve seen this same song and dance before – don’t get too excited. This is going the distance.

  9. This is ridiculous. The Toronto Maple Leafs have not won a single thing. How can they be favourites, this is putting undue pressure on the buds. This isn’t good karma.

  10. the only problem I have with the Leafs is there is too many American born players, 8 in total Ontario is the centre of the hockey Universe, for 100 years the majority of Leafs players were Ontario Englishmen, just like the Montreal Canadiens majority Quebec French men

  11. I still say nothing matters until round 2 game 1… All this leafs have the better odds means nothing.. . Don't hold your breath leaf fans but enjoy the ride an remember if we lose to just carry on with your life don't riot don't get in fights it is only a game. This is a message from king an ruler of your Anglo American land owned by the king

  12. Oilers were the big favourite over Kings and they lost the first game. Only Leafs new players will make the difference. If Leafs depend too much on their so called stars like Mathews and Marner they will lose.

  13. Man we gotta get CJ off the camera lol he looks so uptight and nervous, and obviously distracted

  14. The maple leaf are not deep they dont have a goalie if Vasilevskiy play good maple leaf are going no where

  15. In their streak of 7 playoff series loses – this Leaf core have lost when they were the favourites on paper. No one expected the Habs to recently defeat this Leaf core. But at some point – is it not impossible for this Leaf core to continue to lose?

  16. Man, so many know-it-alls! The Leafs are favorites because they have been the better, more consistent team this season. That doesn't guarantee anything, but based on this year's play, they are the favorite. The past is the past, and has little to do with the here and now. This year, they certainly have assembled a solid, deep team with all of the tools to get it done. Its completely in the players' hands now. More killer instinct this time around, so the Leafs won't be an easy out if that even happens. Few teams in sports have choked in such spectacular fashion. Its time to change the narrative, and I sense the will to do that is very apparent. Anything can happen. Predictions don't mean squat until its over.

  17. This whole narrative of the Leafs losing in the first round has to come to an end. We're a lethal team with Ryan O'Reilly, Noel Acciari, Sam Lafferty and company. We are a much better team than last year.

  18. leave Shenn on till June 30

Mitch goes on when ever the f…. he wants, comes off when HE wants !!!!! don't try to out think magic Mitch and wizard Willy stick to the water bottles coach

  19. Leafs have become sooo much better defensively. They aren't a run and gun team anymore and it's gonna be hard to beat

  20. Tampa in 6 and if you have watched Tampa over the last few years going into playoffs.Tampa just rides out the last 25 regular season games and then bang there right there.Toronto made some changes but not enough and don`t have the goalies to win the big game and playoffs are a different breed of players with no pressure on Tampa but all on Toronto.Leaf fans will be flipping out when Tampa moves on lol

  21. I don't like calling the Leafs an overwhelming favorite. As a Leafs fan I think this is a huge coin flip series. On paper in the regular season we are the favorite but it's the postseason and it's going to be a war. No way Tampa goes down easy.

  22. Tampa forwards charge the net when they are in the offensive zone. Leaf forwards skate around and around waiting for the perfect shot. That will be the difference

  23. There's an old saying " too be the best ya gotta beat the best" last I checked Leafs haven't beat anyone in nearly 2 decades. They're not favorites and won't be until they win a series.
