I'd love to see his head taken off next game. @Pete DeBoer – sometimes, its ok to stand up for your player when the refs make a bad call. that was a bad call the play on the ice was 5 mins and upon review it should be game misconduct based on what I saw, based on what Domi saw and based on the monkey smiling in the penalty box!!

Hi to all I think both Head coaches did answer to the best the way they can to the ?'s that were asked. As for the Stars head coach it was great to hear that Joe .P was walking on his own after the game I'm no doctor by all means but after seeing the collision and the way that Joe's head bounced off the ice the NHL would do some concussion testing to see how bad it is related to the head bouncing off the ice. With someone who has had a concussion they should take it very seriously as I feel the NHL would do so I hope that Joe would be able to play but as a person who has had concussion's before and how dangerous it can be he may have to wait and come back in the fall if even that reason cause you don't Joe to come back too soon and get re injured from just a simple hit that could affect him on much more longer term if just hit right if Joe did have a concussion from that hit.

Wild fan here…class-act coach, didn't stoop to abrasive comments, even if the local media/fans were looking to lay into the refs. There were no-calls that went both ways (e.g. Suter's cross-check from behind to Kaprizov's ribs in front of the Dallas goal). To the hit on Pavelski…finishing checks 1-2 seconds after a player dishes happens all the time and are not often called. The only reason it's being talked about is that Pavelski got hurt on the fall (and no one wants that, btw). Wishing him a speedy recovery.
Gotta give the Dallas Thieves credit for really giving it to us while they were down a forward. But Gus stood tall and what a game by our D. Let's keep at it boys

Thats an NHL coach. He understands that you are going to get calls for and against your team. People that whine every time about the refs after the game when they lose have never laced up a pair of skates. Its a fast moving game and in the playoffs everything is faster. They cant possibly catch every little action that happens that the public sees in slow motion sitting on their couch.

Stars didn't look in top shape last night and still looked like the better team in the late game. Like Pete said, gotta tighten up in the 1st. The wild def was really smothering our forwards and creating traffic, so we might have to rely on our blue liners to create scoring opportunities from the back. Def need to get our goal scorers motivated. Jake earned his dinner, and Miro locked in 41+mins of hard work. And at risk of sounding like a total homer, It would be nice if obvious high sticks and trips were called. That was not a great night of calls for us. I'm not too worried. Dallas in 6.
