Snow on the line makes it a little harder to tell, personally I was expecting them to call it off. Not complaining though, this has been a blast to watch

Game 6 in Calgary?

So much butt hurt on r/hockey. I remember when they liked us…now they fear us.

Hadn’t seen this angle shown on ESPN feed. I was also confused but this is clear.

Leaf fan here. You guys were great tonight. Here’s the screenshot I saw. Doesn’t matter in the long run but Perry is a beast
I left r/hockey yesterday and I’ve never had better timing on anything in my entire life.

This popped on my feed, coming in peace, they did not show this angle one time lol wtf
beckyjoooo
you got eyes, right? 🙄

Honestly doesn’t even matter. There were weak penalties all night. If you took away all the bs that happened in period 2 we still win 4-1.

This…. This is a joke, right? Like, you’re aware that the post has some snow on it and your line is crooked? Look at the part of the edit line to the right of the pad. Can clearly see the angle starting to open already.
Or maybe you think pucks are twice the diameter of the post?

Yearly reminder that the overhead camera isn’t actually overhead. What you see in this picture is irrelevant because you’re seeing the parallax view. Even if there’s white between the puck and the red line it could still not be across the line.
The war room has camera angles they don’t show on TV which determine if it’s a goal or not. With those camera angles they determined it was a goal, or at the very least was inconclusive and the play stood.
Editing in red lines and saying « here’s the proof » just illustrates the average viewer’s inability to separate what they see with their eyes and what’s really happening.

It was clear as day.

Here’s another example from 8 years ago:

The best is that this likely isn’t a goal if Perry doesn’t cheer and raise his arms
