Urinating Tree's Hex lives on
And I thought I was enraged after watching the Oilers blow a 2 goal lead against the Kings and lost in overtime Monday night. LA won the first game in last year's series between the two teams as well, but we don't have Mike Smith in net making gaffs like he did in that game. We have Stuart Skinner, who looked like a Calder nominee, and he can't make a save when the Oilers are clinging to a 1 goal lead in the final half-minute of regulation? That was a dumb penalty to take by Bouchard, and the Oilers did have a chance to ice it with the empty net, but still. That's a save the goalie has to make. And don't get me started on the Deharnais penalty in overtime. How was that not a dive by the Kings player? That was more of a dive than a trip. And how was Kopitar allowed to get away with what was the exact definition of a trip while Deharnais gets called despite his stick just tapping the back of the guy's skate? It wasn't even a hard slash.
They had one job
Refs dont make a team loose. Yes they can blow calls but blaiming refs is a weak excuse.
I am a Habs fan, but I think it's really important for hockey that the Leafs do well in the playoffs. I can't believe that they played SO poorly last night. Even The Hockey Guy put out a 30-second clip after the second period last night talking about the meltdown in Toronto. I hope they recover, but let's face it, Tampa is a tough hockey team and tough matters in the playoffs.
The fans paid hundreds of dollars?
This is Toronto Steve, if you can see the empty seats from the broadcast camera those seats cost at least $1000 (then taxes and fees on top) and yet they still didn't bother sticking around for the third period…
We’ll see ya later Sheldon… little to late though
I love it. Nothing different from any other season. Matthews completely invisible again. He reminds me so much of Alexie Yashin great in the regular season. Useless in the playoffs. No response from anyone. I was great
It can be done. How? Trade for Cirelli.
Damn #12 on trending. Keep it up leafs😂😂
Only time of the year I watch this goofs videos. The whining never disappoints.
Can you fire a coach after the first game in round one of the playoffs?
Look on the bright side. The Jets won!!
12:43 you also can't conclusively see that the puck wasn't fully across the line. The call on the ice was goal. It needs to be conclusive to overturn, and it wasn't.
I hope you have a good psychotherapist or lots of booze.
LOL LEAFS LOL
Nothing I love more than watching leaf fans crumble every April😂😂 love it
As a bolts fan, I love this guys energy. Just subscribed. There’s always next year Steve.
That hit cost Bunting a new contract with the Leafs next year.
There is always Next Year, right?…lol
Go Lightning!
Team is too soft. I cannot wait until they fire that dork Dubas no more soft clowns. Keefe can go too! And Mathew’s an Marner would be the first to go and C taking away and get rid of Tavares too! Buncha slow clowns… slow and soft.
This is the one time where Leafs fans, as well as fans of a lot of these NHL teams, should be FURIOUS. Avalanche, Stars, Oilers, Leafs, and Devils all got FUCKED OVER by the refs.
Ask the Winchester's (Sam and Dean), demon slaying isn't easy, sometimes it takes a couple whacks… #GhostBustin
If Knies plays well, don't put Bunting back in. Bunting got the call on a semi-flop, he didn't need to sell it. Refs gave him the benefit of the doubt, and obviously, they feel he flopped after looking at it. At that point, it was back to target on Bunting, then he doubled down. If he is in your lineup, he is going to cost you at least one if not two, penalties every game. Regardless of his ability is that worth it?
I made the mistake of having my phone at max volume
damn this is hard to watch lmao
Everyone common…we can't possibly be surprised right!?
Toronto Will Go Down
19:10 What a treasure!!! <3
Lightning fan here, hope it goes a full series, I know the leafs have it in them. I want the lightning to win yes obviously, but I want the series to go to a game 7. If the leafs do win I hope the exorcise all of their demons, especially the Bruins.
I absolutely hate Toronto and i want them to get embarrassed, but i completely agree that the Perry goal should not have counted. I saw a point in the video where it may have went completely in but it certainly wasnt conclusive
I love when u lose it Steve makes my day lighting will win the first round sorry but not sorry😂
I just laugh anymore been supporting this team for 50 years and they gave me one good playoff run in 93 and the refs f@cked us in that one Fraser should not have left that building in one piece
If don't make it this year trade Matthew's you'll get a haul and his next cap hit will be highest NHL. You'll be able sign 1-2 really good players for his cap.
Marner is most important player he has grown alot drives lines whether with Tavares,Matthew's, or if had to 3rd line.
LETS GO BOLTS
To all the leafs fans out there if you have kids save them and make them anything but leafs fans
The actual nail in the coffin for this game wasn't the major penalty. In fact, killing off a major is exactly what the Leafs needed to get back into the game. Killing off a major is a massive momentum shift… but the crowd and leafs were too dumb to think that way. So instead, Sheldon Keefe reveals his lack of leadership intelligence and challenges the call. The ensuing 5 on 3 put the game out of range for a comeback.
