  1. Outstanding content; I predict a very busy and the most important offseason to date. This team has to move forward.I believe a couple big moves incoming.

  2. Isn't Max's argument a bit lost when you say we've had horrible seasons and picked between 4 and 8 and got great players (edvinsson, seider, raymond). While also saying sticking around these same draft number picks doesn't have value. I mean we took Kasper at 8 we don't know how that will turn out but there's some good players to pick up which we have so I dunno if it's loses value. It only loses value if you don't make good picks. It sucks to still be picking at that number but it's not like we're not still improving.

In my opinion we never started the rebuild until Yzerman came 4 yrs ago and stripped the team down. We've been sucking for almost a decade but we've only started to build a team 4yrs ago I dont get why some people are impatient.

  3. Winged Wheel Podcast Network still throws me as it sounds so official. haha. Not that y'all aren't amazing! Just that it sounds so buttoned up when y'all are just so much fun and informal.

  4. Detroit has to get better adding talent after the 1st round /pick 32. They had a memorable 10 + year run of adding great talent after the 1st round from 1998 (Datsyuk) to 2009 (Tatar) they should of had back to back Cups in 2008 and 2009 but the NHL had other ideas. If you are realistic and see the landscape of NHL in terms of marketing the lottery and poignant teams winning the lottery at the right moment……..this just will not happen for Detroit. So going into some romantic swoon about getting the 1st or 2nd overall from the lottery is a giant waste of time. More than likely Detroit will get bumped down one spot.

  5. Tyler is no surprise. He's a talented, passionate player. Too bad the Wings sucked for six years. He can still be resigned by the Wings if it events bring him back.
