  1. This is a dirty hit to the head. Watch at 0.25x speed. Look at the point of contact. Two Leafs should have been ejected tonight. This dirt has no place in hockey.

  2. Bunting dirty hit and drew a match penalty: good call by refs. McCabe hit was not a penalty and did not draw a penalty from the refs.

Think the Leafs have to stop blaming the refs for them losing this game. TB clearly outplayed them and played their game tonight. Whereas, Toronto felt the pressure from prior playoff failures against TB and it showed.

  3. Kampf call was soft. McCabe should have gotten 2 for interference, or head contact.

  4. clean hit, keep your head up kid. absolutely embarassing that paul didnt get a penatly, which lead to a tampa bay scoring chance and powerplay….

  5. McCabe used his elbow after the hit. SHould have been a penalty. But the refs called it on someone else to make it even anyhow.

  6. And here's SportsNet trying to stir the pot. They best they can come up for their team is an illegal hit to the head. Why not show the Bunting hit and glorify that.

  7. Clean hit, but the timing of it was terrible, we had the momentum building and just threw it back into Tampas hands, got bunting all excited too.. in the end the team discipline comes down to the coach..

  8. Just so we’re clear. Corey Perry does the exact same thing to Acciari 1 second after Kampf got called for it 🤷🏻‍♂️

  9. Paul on McCabe, it isn't much, but if the refs want to be in control, that is 2 for unsportsmanlike(or technically it could be interference)

  10. Terrible officiating. Paul trying to start a fight, no instigator call. Allow play continue despite extracurricular activity. Score chance despite majority of players in a scrum. Non existant slashing call on Kampf for stick on stick contact. Just insane how terirble Wes McCauley was last night. And it wasn't just against the leafs. There were bad calls against the bolts and non calls for the bolts too.

  11. Canadian announcers are funny. Clearly a elbow to the head and they say nothing about the elbow. But complain the whole game about the referees..

  12. That's the weakest penalty I've ever seen in a playoff game. That's embarrassing officiating.

  13. Nick Paul literally slashing, clutching and holding McCabe up the ice trying to start a fight which no one makes a call on. Linesman is literally breaking them up – but they Kampf gets called on a stick check. Momentum killer.

  14. Clearly an elbowing penalty…. He should have gotten at least two minutes
    Tanner is coming d- bag

  15. That is so easily an illegal check to the head. Watch the slow motion replay. You can SEE the head contact. And if he didn’t hit him in the head? Why is he missing the next game?

  16. Hits him in the face with his elbow and TorontoNet calls it a "Thunderous" hit. Disgusting. Somebody should get a broken jaw over this.

  17. If the refs do there job properly, they call Paul for instigating and leafs get a PP. also, bunting probably doesn’t make that hit

  18. Tough one but if you watch at 0.25 speed it’s clear that the primary point of contact is the head. And that’s gotta be a penalty IMO. Intentional or not

  19. Vicious slash by Kampf at 1:22 lol. I don't understand nhl playoff reffing from game to game. The stanley cup finals are going to be ruined one day on some bs calls like this. a shame for the fans.

  20. Refs helped TB win. Stupid calls on the Leafs the whole game. This is starting to feel like when they help Boston win.

  21. Folks, put your playback speed at 25% and go to 0:47 and watch what happens to Eyssimont's head on impact. McCabe's shoulder while making some contact with his chest actually makes direct contact with Eyssimont's chin FIRST. This gives him a concussion. His head never touches the ice. That's a headshot and should not be glossed over as a clean hit, especially if the league wants to police these kinds of hits out of the game.
