The ref was right there when Mayfield got clipped in the face and didn't even called a penalty on the Hurricanes what a joke and Canes fans saying refs u suck you guys shouldn't be talking you guys had Power Plays thru the whole game and the Islanders didn't even get one PP

These refs were on the Hurricanes all night long and no penalty there in OT these refs were awful all night and the Islanders don't even get a Power Play in this whole game

As a Canes fan I was relieved the high stick wasn’t called by I know it should’ve been. Horrible refs and both sides favored from this.

The Isles dodged several penalties at once with Martin on Staal at the end of the first: hit from behind, didn’t have puck, and then literally sat on Staal for ages till finally being called for interference.
6 PPs for Carolina, none for us. Blatant high stick right in front of a zebra seconds before the GWG. This is absolutely unacceptable.

It really wasn’t so fast and a Non-High sticking call on Mayfield ended up the Refs handing the canes the win. The Islanders outplayed the Canes. The NHL hates N.Y. If Carolina moves on,they won’t make it to the Cup finals,there Goalie isn’t that solid.

The islanders made mistakes, the refs made more. One thing is for certain, canes fans don't know hockey. Yelling "refs suck" for plays that weren't even penalties. Refs basically are wearing canes jerseys at this point

Good for Fast. Doesn't put up big numbers or get a lot of recognition, but does so many little things and is a crucial part of this team. Great to see him get a big goal.
