   Bearsy! Love it. I’m sure he’s feeling pretty confident in his game these days, which is great for him and the Canucks (if we re-sign him, of course)

   It’s great to see some Canucks representing their countries.

   Ethan Bear is such an easy guy to cheer for. I enjoy his candor and attitude. He’s a great role model and a fantastic representative of the Vancouver Canucks.

   Playing for team Canada is mutually beneficial. Bear gets development/ice time with the national team and the Canucks get a further chance to see his capabilities before committing to a valuation for his contract extension.

   Kinda surprising. He’s currently negotiating a contract extension. I know Reddit gets in their feels when I say something negative about Worlds. But for him an injury would really effect his contract, to the point if the injury is bad enough he may not even get qualified. Then he’s looking at a league min deal somewhere.

   But that’s the kind of guy Bear is, he’s a competitor. Knock on wood he stays healthy and has a good showing. I am not a fan of Worlds participation. But it’s an opportunity to represent your country in an age where Gary Assman won’t let players go to the Olympics.
