Oh my goddess. I would be absolutely happy to listen to Peters stories about Harold Ballard all day. What a… a… a human being of sorts. Jeeze.
Oh wow, I still remember Game 7 vs the Canucks in 2004. Shanks was so quiet, shockingly so for a sports bar. I was listening on my little radio, while watching the game on one of the big screen TVs… my radio was about 10 seconds ahead of the tv broadcast, and without thinking when the Flames scored I thrust my hand in the air and almost shouted before remembering that almost no one else there knew yet.
