I don’t understand journalism anymore. Why would you write an article full of proposed trades then reject most of the very trades that you just proposed?

Hope you have some thick skin Jonathan if you’re going to drop your blog posts here, which is against the rules by the way.
The reason I ask is your takes here are dogshit. That Travis Konecny trade is freaking dumb and you’re all about it. So who are you taking of RW on the top two lines to put Konecny and his 30-60 points in for? Is it your over point per game and heart of the team Tuch or is it the rookie ‘The mighty Quinn’ who just posted 37 points, is currently on a ELC and has a ceiling as a player that Konecny will never even come close to. That’s before you consider that there is zero concern of resigning Tuch in 3 years and Buffalo has Quinn for 6 more while Konecny is a UFA in two. Oh and you’re trading away a solid bottom 3 defensemen and a Center who was _just_ taken in 16OA less than a year ago.

These apparently were all posted on CapFriendly’s Armchair GM page, and in a vacuum they all suck except the first one sending Olofsson to Pittsburgh for Petry. That’d be a good sized overpay by Pitt, but considering we’d be taking cap off their hands I can see it.

I don’t agree. You do not want to throw a rookie Levi into the fire as number one and have a second goalie who has below average stats.
