#nhl #hockey #nhlplayoffs #highlights #winnipegjets #vegasgoldenknights

75 stitches and back in the game a period later. Toughest guys in professional sports
Love watching hockey for their toughness, close call on that injury, could of been a lot worse.
An injury like that one would have put poor Lebron out 2 weeks
I’ve been watching hockey for 40 years and I’m surprised things like that don’t happen more often.
Props to him for getting 75 stitches and coming back to the game
He pushes the skate the same way I’d toss a hot pan
Hockey players are just a different breed. Love the sport. Hands down my favorite sport to watch. The black knight in Monty Python's Quest For the Holy Grail has nothing on NHL players when it comes to refusing to acknowledge serious injuries. "It's just a flesh wound," says the guy who just had his arms cut off but still wants to keep fighting.
First thing I noticed was that goalies skate in the air. Players need to keep those skates down. I know it’s hard in the heat of the moment but that coulda been sooo bad. Hockey players are beasts.
Barron be like, 75 stitches! This isn't soccer, hold my Molson.
That skate to the face was so scary . That was a bad cut. But could have easily been deadly too.
I’ll never understand when people comment things like “oh respect to this player for helping another player in a serious situation” as if that’s not the normal thing to do. Why is the bar so low.
Cringe title
this is amazing because instead of watching SportsCenter I can watch a YouTube video of some kid wishing he was a actual commentator.
2:13 at least they won
wouldnt surprise me if the jets sweep, i like their team build alot beter than vegas
I am really glad that Morgan Barron was okay with taking that skate blade to the forhead. He is very lucky for sure!
Many years from now when NHL players are wearing mandatory full facial protection future fans will look at today's players with a mixture of disbelief and morbid curiosity as to why so many players risk such injuries.
Glad he’s ok!
If I was the goalie for Vegas I would feel sooooooo bad
CORNELL LEGEND
Quite the argument for the NHL to require players to wear the college fishbowl helmets. Believe it or not, the fishbowls are banned by the NHL. Players in the NHL can use them ONLY when protecting a previous injury. Nice logic Bettman. I guess someone has to get killed before the NHL takes it's head out of it's butt
Dr. "Uh…Morgan, you're gonna need 75 stitches."
Morgan: "Can I go back out?"
Dr. "Uh…you'll nee a cage to protec…"
Morgan: "Ok." hands equipment manager his helmet to get a cage "Send me back out, I'm good."
I got my thigh sliced open by a skate almost down the the artery, 3 inches long. Doc only put 8 stitches in there. How tf do they fit 75 stitches across a 2 inch cut lmao
That's really hard to watch
Why these guys do not wear a cage is amazing
Nevermind the crosscheck, into the skate blade.
I don't know which iis harder to watch – that awful cut or those yellow jerseys. Glad Barron wasn't "seriously" hurt.
That is true sportsmanship to check on him after getting cut
I'll never forget seeing goalie Clint Malarchuk getting sliced across the neck with a skate blade. It was gruesome beyond belief, and in his case, it was life threatening. There is video of it on youtube, but warning: it is gruesome and pretty difficult to watch.
If it was soccer they would need a stretcher to get the player off.
Good video
" this was extremely hard to watch" I guess sounds better than "Something like this will get me a half a million views! Sweet!"
Thats no heart, the guy clearly has brain sequels…he needs help
Toughest athletes on the planet by far are hockey players glad he's ok and as hard as they battle they have a tremendous amount of respect for each other as Stephenson showed there ton of respect for these guys
Basketball and soccer players 💅
Lebron fell off his chair watching the clip and will miss 3 weeks with a very slightly scuffed elbow.
75 stitches and was back out there playing hockey
Crazy
