  1. 14:31, to me as an Oilers fan was the most laughable, and when I realized the Pens were done. Making Jesse Puljujarvi look like prime Joe Thornton as he passes to Devin Shore for his first goal in forever. Love both dudes, but if that depth is getting a goal on you so easily, you're not a Cup contender.

  2. As a blackhawks fan I feel your pain tree. We were in the same spot for years and just recently finally started rebuilding. It’s gonna get a lot worse before it gets better

  3. There is no better content on YouTube than Tree discussing Yinzer sports.

  4. The Caps and the Pens are big braining this year: Can't hilariously choke in the first round of the playoffs if you don't even make em!

  5. As a Blackhawks fans I must say, I feel for ya, right now you've experienced the 2018-2019 Blackhawks special and honestly, it's just gonna get worse for the pens just like it got worse for the Blackhawks. Buckle up my friend

  6. Tree I'm with you. I'm scared as a Milwaukee Bucks fan, that Jimmy Haslam is going to turn what was a potential dynasty into the NBA's version of the Browns in a few years. They better win it all this year or next year, or else that core is getting nuked.

  7. Crosby doesn't strike me as the type that would be opposed to helping establish a new core via a rebuild.

I think they should've let Malkin and Letang go last year and started a rebuild.

  8. I love how the Fenway organization will fire them right after this mess but won't lift a finger to fire anyone on the Red Sox for the garbage they keep putting out.

  9. "Make big trade for Rickard Rakell, works out very well"

As a Ducks fan, I hated this trade 😑

  10. Don't worry, when the team is on the brink of bankruptcy for the 3rd time, they'll get the 1st overall franchise player to revive them until then the team will suffer a slow horrible death

  11. The streak wasn’t even a thing anyway. They lost to Montréal in 2020, thus not making the final 16 which is the legit playoff field.

  12. Yes pens have entered the red wings level of rebuilding hell too many crap contracts to move and nothing in the prospect pipeline to get their jollies up

  13. As a Flyers fan, I can’t help but feel bad. Although we hate each other, I know firsthand how bad incompetent management is. We went through Hextall AND Fletcher…

  14. Literally should have nuked and sell all assets when they lost to MTL in the qualifying covid round. Hextall just happened to be there to decapitate the rest of what was left valuable of this franchise. Like you said, the rebuild will be slow and painfull, just like the Wings, Sabres and Sens.

  15. I still find it funny as a Caps/Kings fan that the Pens went out 2021 Colts Style against 2 of the Worst Teams in the League. By getting obliterated by BOTH TEAMS.

  16. What scares me the most is this:

What if this was the final elite year you got our of your top 3 players? What if this was the final amazing season you got of of Crosby, Malkin, and Letang?

The Pens management and coaching wasted all of that this season, and while FSG did the right thing and purged the front office, I am beyond scared for the future of this team.

This was really needed. Thanks UTree. In the meantime, I need 2009, 2016, and 2017 as my drugs of choice during this awful time.

  17. it’s such a shame that we didn’t even fall apart because of keeping the big 3 together, the two headed monster played fantastic, they just had no one else to help them out, actually a tragedy

  18. Watching Montreal beat them in bubble was almost as good as watching Toronto choke a 3-1 series lead

  19. Watching Hextall do to the penguins what he did to the flyers was the only satisfying thing to happen as a flyers fan in the last decade

  20. I just love when pens fans bitch that Sullivan doesn’t play young players as if we have any young players worth calling up in the first place. Like where is this magic farm system they imagine will improve our team so greatly? 😅

  21. Nothing like hearing background music for Diddy Kong Racing to give me nostalgia.

Oh, wait… This is about the Penguins being an overrated team for the last 20 years. Okie dokie.

  22. The worst part of the game against CBJ was that it was Pittsburgh's first loss against the Blue Jackets since NOVEMBER 29TH, 2019.

  23. You should do a video of the rivalry between the avalanche and redwings. You probably could have a lot of fun with that.

  24. Pittsburgh, free advice.. Fire Hextall before his incompetence causes you to end up facing a lost decade like the Red Wings have

Your GM is a stubborn fool in denial, you haven't won a playoff series since 2018, your window is over, and he can't accept that

  25. Yeah, no. Don’t expect sympathy from any other fan base lol. My advice, start stocking up on prospects or draft picks of any sort.

Edit: certainly no sympathy after hurting Ekker for the playoffs!
