These are the moments that matter in life. When we reflect on ourselves personally and wallow in our struggle these are the reflections that can give us the boost to keep us moving forward. It's these moments that as a father I can show to my kids that demonstrate the power of belief and the importance to not give up and to push harder even when the cards are stacked against you. Like a lot of communities that are suffering with "hopelessness" and Edmonton being no exception this is a message that is needed to hopefully shift the momentum in a positive direction for the community as a whole.
lmaoo Woodcroft's low-dig at the referees: "you guys played much more disciplined today…how key was it to not take some of that extra stuff -" "I thought it was a really well officiated game." full stop LOL. GO OILERS GO!
If we still had Tippett as our coach we would of been swept. Jay is making the difference for this team every period and he’s on his way to being the best coach in Oilers history
Great fight back, boys! Shows a lot of character. It's pretty hard to win when you're playing a very good team and one-sided refs. Why is Jack Michaels not calling the game with Louie?
With Toronto when Samsonov had a bad game, you didn't have Murray in the wings. Still, I think it would be understandable if they went back with Samsonov for another game and give him the benefit of the doubt even if Murray was ready to go.
Tough call for Jay in Edmonton. If Skinner struggles again, there's no guarantee Campbell will pull off another performance.
It's hard enough to play against a good team, without having to battle the referees as well. When the refs officiate in an unbiased way, the results are that the Oilers win! Talent over Goons = Oilers in Six!
* Ok I see the $ 9.2 SLUG responsible for 3 goals !!!!!!! WAKIE UP EDMONTON NURSE IS THE PROBLEM / BUT I GUESS THE GM who gave THE SLUG 9.2 will never ADMITT IT !!!!!!!!…….. O Well maybe after next GM
i love that mcdavid continues to get hit etc and dont cry about it. he already has more class then gretzky ever did. no one cried to refs as much as wayne

Why does this guy remind me of the Stay Puff guy from Ghostbusters.

Guy looks like he is always crying
Jay "harder and longer" Woodcroft
Better keep practicing your OT Woody!
Might have to save Desharnais for the next series, no good matchups with the Kings

I hope this coach doesn't leave Oilers anytime soon. He fits well with the team just like Connor mcdcvid and Leon.
this coach is the stuff of legend. havent been hype for a coach in over 20 years
hyman getting the game winner was not even a surprise. he's already proven himself. bouchard also

One sided refs ? You had power play goals.
Love Woodcroft’s approach, truly a hockey Ted Lasso
