He’s definitely worth that right now, but if he progresses he’ll probably top out at around a 1.2ish player.
So having him at 825k for 2 years means no major risk for the team, but some definite upside for him if he keeps performing.

That’s a really good contract for both sides. Not committing too much for too long based on a small sample size and he gets two years to show what he can do at this level.
