Devils, make a lot of mistakes on defense. They definitely let rangers trailers and center get front shot and view 5 feet from net and that’s never good. However, their offense is truly loaded. They have speed, agility, athleticism and vision for the ice when players don’t have the puck. Edmonton, has the same issue on defense except it’s the offensive players that lack 2 way player knowledge. Mcdavid, conserves his energy until he has the puck so while the opposing team has a scoring chance, he’s worthless there. Leon, is the same. Nurse, keeps making bad play after bad play just clearing the puck and not taking time to make sure it’s a clean lane or not in to the boards where the opposing team has a player a;ready for instant turnover.
Still a lot left in this series but it's a battle. The Rangers have such a talented team, so much experience. But the Devils clearly have the speed, and they figured out the right team to put on the ice for this round.
Maybe try not letting the smaller and younger Devils be more physical then you guys, that might help. My god finish your checks, terrible last 2 games.

Rangers were rudderless, drifting about, didn't deserve to win.
