If you had told me on this day last year that the following season’s point leaders were Toffoli, Lindholm and Backlund I’d have some questions.
If you then informed me that #19 and #13 weren’t point leaders not due to injury, but rather walked/requested a trade and we got HUBERDEAU and Kadri, I’d question my existence briefly, collect my thoughts and think “okay, they both ran into injury woes. Unlucky year.”
But if you told me they both played full seasons and combined for less points than Huberdeau’s previous season I’d probably have an aneurism on the spot
