Mika is my favorite ranger and has been for quite some time, but man he deserves to golf right now. We win and/or die with his play so often. Hope he turns it on when it counts.

I know it feels bleak right now but he was a ghost in the first 4 games of the Penguins series last year and then he went absolutely nuclear.

It’s not even that he isn’t scoring, he isn’t doing *anything* other than playing a decent defensive game. Everything he tries to do in the offensive zone has gone flat more so than any other top-9 forward (even Laf), and this was even in the back-to-back 5-1 wins.

I feel like his pregnant wife and upcoming baby are in his head. Not that that’s a bad thing but I’m wondering if that’s why he’s been a little off. Plus I think she’s due about the same time as a deep playoff run would go
