  1. he doesnt even finish his answer, you journalists are sick people like crackheads for crack, or i guess fentanyl now since the gov making it legal. He was praising kerfoot and you cut him off wow. WE NEED DON CHERRY BACK

  2. I love the side by side interviews when they talk about each other. This one with Matthews and Kerfoot and the one before with Reilly and Tavares. This team steps up for each other!

  3. Keefe channeled his inner Pat Burns and was more animated behind the bench in the last three games. 🥇

  4. Please dont change this line up, DO NOT put bunting back in!!!!

  5. Leafs in 5 at home. Its been a tough several years for the leaf nation but the way these boys have been playing in Tampa. Wow the spirit, motivation is incredible. Go leafs go.

  6. As a Boston fan I have to say that was a good game. Good comeback. Congrats on the win. We're watching you. Close this out in game 5 once and for all. See you soon boys.

  7. If they close this out and win the series they'll finally get a taste of the winning bug and they'll want more.

  8. Everyone was assuming that Kerfoot was gone at deadline, but after hearing the love everyone has for him, it's obvious he isn't going anywheres. He's a solid player, but he brings a lot more to the team than just his hockey skills.

  9. I really like the difference in these answers compared to the the last few years. The boys are changing and it is evident throughout these interviews. Thank you. It is refreshing and good to see.

  10. Maybe someone will ask about and/or acknowledge Samsonov…

  11. Nothing is won until you win that 4th. How many times have the Leafs left 3 wins sitting on the table? Tampa has been outplaying them and it just looks like Vasy is not himself. If he comes back it's going to be tough. Leafs also need to play tough like they did in the last game. Everyone needs to play with fire in their belly.

  12. Not gunna lie wasn’t gunna watch the third but damn glad I did.. I’m still in shock two come back wins in ot leafs up in the series wth

  13. It’s really nice to see Kerfoot get the accolades he deserves. This is a guy who does a lot of the small things right that you don’t notice. I’m really happy for him to get the goal . He will be back doing what he does game in,game out next game. Matthews is right when he said the hardest game to win is the fourth. Let’s hope this year they get the forth and carry on to get the 16 th.

  14. Now It's time to end all the jinxes and ghosts from the 'Harold Ballard' days and prove to the skeptics that the Toronto Maple Leafs are back!

  15. The one ‘journalist’ sure loves the dagger metaphor. Goes with it with every interview lol.

  16. Very lucky to win both games, lots of work to do in the D zone cover the point. Sheldon mixed the lines and double shifted Marner was a great coaching move.

  17. I’ve really been questioning why the Leafs didn’t move Kerfoot at the last two deadlines. This video has opened my eyes to what he means to this team…even though his numbers are down, it appears that he brings the intangibles to the group. To a man (and the coach), it’s clear that he plays a vital role in the success of the Leafs. 😎

  18. moved the puck good marner says? Ive never seen such dogshit passing 1st and 2nd. No offensive time, what game are these guys watching?

  19. Knies saved the game. Auston Matthews brought them back from the dead. I can’t believe it. What a game. What a win.

  20. It is such a different feeling having the Leafs win these two games with improbable comebacks instead of watching them lose games where they blew comfortable leads.

  21. Amazing comeback guys…great work!! As I said to my dad who is a diehard leafs fan…”the age of the lightning is over…the time of the leafs has begun”

  22. Who here went into emotional shut down mode and turned the game off at 4-1? I did! Not caring I decided I must watch the 3rd period and suffer. 😂 insane that they stole 2 games from tampa that they didn’t have any business winning! GLG

  23. If Samsonov can keep making the big saves , The Leafs will move on !
    Go Leafs Go !

  24. I think hands down the biggest difference this series is the Leafs' physicality. Been so used to seeing them get handled come playoff time, but not this year.

  25. We really need media that can ask better questions. Seriously!? "How important was it to put the "dagger" in?" asked of every player? Smh. Some of their questions are so ridiculous you can see players roll their eyes. We need better media! Besides maybe if the media left them alone once in a while instead of following them everywhere (including the Leafs getaways)as Auston Matthews pointed out, perhaps they would play with a little less bs pressure on them. Go! Leafs Go!

  26. By now, given leaf’s of the past, I would’ve turned off games 3&4 by end of the 2nd. And I honestly didn’t think we’d come back, let alone WIN, last night after being down 4-1, so I went to bed, only to see 20+ texts missed that they came back and then won it!

I know it’s been a grind but Dubas and Keene have instilled great pieces and chemistry that has changed the narrative! Never had a leafs team in the last 15+ fought so hard even when outplayed like this team in the playoffs! I believe now more than ever we’ll get over this hump and make a legit run for the cup this year!

And while I’m not getting ahead of myself, I’m even less afraid of facing Boston in the next round given our play of late! I mean taking two at Amalie like they did, can’t be a fluke! GoLeafsGo!

  27. Next game they need to come out flat for the first 2 periods and come from behind. It's obvious, playing with the lead and is too much for them..lol

  28. Someone has to acknowledge knies game changing save at the line. I'm not all the way through but that was a huge moment

  29. Imagine what would happen if Leafs play several periods really well—all in a row! Consistency! And limit penalties!

  30. O' Reilly is right–Get a jump from the very beginning! Got hard INSTANTLY to offset Tampa game plan…

  31. I really hope they’re learning! It sure looks like it, congratulations boys! But I can’t help Echo I thought they have to find a way to start on time!

  32. So happy the Leafs won those two games but Sheldon needs to get his wingers to stop puck watching in their own zone. Too many goals went in because of missed assignments and lack of coverage on the points, and the boards in there own zone. It will be easier to win games when you are not down 2 or 3 goals.

  33. Sheldon Keefe expressed him self extremely well….knows what Leafs are up against/has to do/understands " uncontrollable factors" in this Strange Game of Hockey! 🙂
