Je n’ai aucune idée de ce que c’était exactement de Matt Martin. Les dernières secondes du premier match de la nuit dernière entre les Hurricanes de la Caroline et les Islanders de New York ont été chaotiques. Les cannes poussaient et Staal a été frappé par derrière par Matt Martin alors qu’il a ensuite décidé d’utiliser Staal comme chaise. Qu’est-ce que c’est que ça? Je ne suis pas sûr. Ce match a cependant eu beaucoup d’action, les Islanders ayant obtenu le bout du bâton plus d’une fois. Non seulement Sebastian Aho a marqué un but contre lui-même, en plus du temps où Mayfield pour les Islanders a clairement obtenu un bâton haut au visage de Martinhook. Non seulement l’arbitre ne l’a pas appelé, mais le jeu a permis aux Hurricanes d’en profiter et de marquer le but gagnant du match. Idk if you’ve been keepin up but Gudas has done this AT LEAST 3 times in the whole series. Not 1 single call. And every he so clearly does get a penalty, some other Panther gets thrown in the box. It’s comical
Refs have to call that high stick in overtime. Even if a players stick gets lifted, they have to be in control of it.

How about the leafs game… O'Reilly laid a dirty check on point in my opinion. Not only did he board him but followed through and made 2nd contact when he could've avoided it. I forgot who was cross checked in the face after the whistle but he should've been tossed and hopefully he pays a hefty fine and has to sit out the rest of the series. I was rooting for the leafs until last night. Too dirty. I also think the refs need to let them duke it out longer too. The fights are half the fun. I forgot to mention the bolts goal that was waved off. It went in before the whistle was blown and cost them the game

Martin panicked. He was so sure his team was going to get scored on by the canes so he crossed check Staal to draw a penalty and stop the play. When that didn't work, he sat on Staal to draw a delay of game and that didn't work ether. The canes didn't score and Martin spent the first 2 minutes of the 2nd period in the box.
