If the Coyotes actually decided to start spending to the cap one of these years, with how cheap and competitive their current roster is, they could really be a legit contender in 2-3 years time.
I really hope Cooley plays for them next year. I loved watching the Keller/Hayton/Schmaltz line. I'd love to see a second line that has both Cooley and Maccelli on it.
If the vote goes “yes,” I want them to play in Tempe. If the vote goes “no,” I want them to move to Houston. Either way, Coyotes, you gotta shit or get off the pot.
Lot of credit due to their Coach Andre Torigny. He's been able to get them to compete hard with energy to make opposing teams have to work for their wins. All the nonsense going on off the ice, and they still somehow got 28 wins and 70 points. At some point the LTIR business and selling off assets has to stop. Hopefully that can happen soon. Coyote fans have been understanding and patient, but for how much longer?
When you realize that Shannon makes more profits in a week running his youtube channel then the owners of the Coyotes made running a multi million dollars franchise for over 20 years combine… 🙂

Phoenix & Tempe would be fools not to give the Yotes a new arena, whether it's in Tempe or somewhere in Downtown Phoenix.
Due to the Colorado river drying up they should really move the Coyotes to a more sustainable location.
Wouldn't be surprised if Bedard pulled a Lindros or decided to pursue a university degree if the Coyotes end up winning the draft lottery.
I think the coyotes will make the playoffs in 2 years, unless they get lucky and get Bedard. From what I have heard the players are happy and like playing in Arizona. They are starting to work well and you can see progress in their play style. There were few blowouts this year, most were close games. I think the Coyotes finally have, or on track to get all the pieces needed to be on the top row of the power rankings.
I can't wait to see the Coyotes here in SLC by the end of the decade.

There are some of those Devils vibes in Arizona. They will probably need more growth, but at some point, like in 2026/27, I won't be surprised to see them win 13 in a row.

Coyotes Missing Playoffs a REal Stunner for Sure :). I thought that CAt was feasting on some Bunny ala Watership Down but its like Yarn or a fallen Hockey Jersey :). Vote No would be my advice to save a lot of time and money :). What can really be said about a failed organization since moving from Winnipeg. The only run into the WCF was when Maloney or NHL was running the team getting all the Ref Calls too. Kings still easily Won over them taking a 3 to 0 lead something only TMac could lose hehe. Houston or Mexico is what I see in the future. Though for Toronto getting Matthews is enough reason to keep team in this landfill. HOw they have any fans is amazing. I wish would give Jets History back let them have the Thrashers one ;).
The Coyotes have been doing what I do in my GM modes. Get all the picks & cap space possible. People gotta chill and trust the process, give it 5 years and we will see where they are at.

As much as I make fun of the Coyotes, I really do believe they will be cup contenders(if not winners) around 2028-2030
They actually weren't that bad during the season if you focus on the skill rather than the game results, even considering trading a ton of their players away at the deadline. Those young guys are killers and play solid, just a few structural pieces missing to get them to that higher level.
