  1. I feel like we do not have a proper 4th line. We have guys who grew up being first and second liners trying to figure out how to be real checking 4th liners. Where is our Trevor Lewis? Kyle Clifford? Colin Fraser? Jordan Nolan? Dwight King?

  2. Agree with all of your game 3 and 4 analysis.
Great having both Fiala and villardi back. That being said I would make these line changes.
    Kupari between Fiala and villardi.
Kupari is not a great goal scorer but he is strong on the puck and a good passer.
Move Iafallo up the the first line.
A top line can't have a winger who has produced only three goals this season and was on the ice for 3 goals against the last game.
Both Kopitar and kempe are playing great even thou they are essentially short handed.
4th line would have both grundstrom and kaliev.
    Maybe JAD between them.
    Let's get one tonight

  3. Blake is a very big miss. It could be the difference in this game. Goaltending and Defense. Must get the first goal and then hold off the Oilers. Leon D. is a must D.

  4. They need to have a king in Draisaitl's face at all times.. that floating so close to our net needs to stop tonight….

  5. Oilers fan here. I haaaaaaaaate the Kings. I especially hate the 1-3-1. That's double hate. I am, however, enjoying the strange isolated coach–off that is happening in this series between former Oiler coach Mclellan and his former apprentice, current coach Woodcroft. I say isolated because each man seems content with the line match that the other puts out. They almost cancel out, leaving purely the strategy: one of the league's historically best defensive teams against one of the league's historically best offensive teams. 2-2. May the best team emerge victorious!

  6. Longtime Oiler fan here, at this point I just hope that whether it's the Kings or the Oilers who wins, we don't have to talk about the damn refs after the game. Good luck everyone

  7. Forgot to comment on the instant replay.
Once again your take is a solid one.
I would take it a step further and get rid of the offside replay altogether.
It's like an inch offsides and maybe less than 1% of the time it gave the team that was offside any advantage at all.
    Really dislike that one.
    Take care .

  8. We really only got Clark in the pipe for next year. Sounds like the rest will be staying at AHL for another year or 3.
