Awesome response to a game 4 loss…See you Friday. LGW. Fuck.
Bummer.
#Pain.
Well that was some pathetic shit. Worst game I’ve seen since game 7 versus Vegas. Outcoached every playoffs. 2 straight years we’ll lose 3 straight after being up 2-1.
Will not spend any money on tickets next year if Dean is the one leading the team
Wild winning game 7 it is
Pathetic and embarrassing, what a waste of my evening watching this garbage game
Pathetic. Where in the fuck is Kirill Kaprizov
I love this team, but I fucking hate this team as well. Y’know?
Why do I even bother watching the playoffs? It’s the same shit every year.
Wild are just gonna have to win games 6 and 7
In context, one of the most embarrassing performances in franchise history. Very, very hard to believe that this team is capable of rebounding to win even 1 game, let alone 2.
Truly horrible.
It’s hard to take this team seriously. What an absolutely atrocious game.
Glad I turned this one off after the first goal by Dallas. What a joke.
Such a gritty game tonight.
Fuck Dean. Fuck the fact the team can’t step it up and pull it together when it matters. New year, New slogan, same dead ass performance
That might have been the most uninspired performance I’ve seen from this team. I was looking forward to Friday but I’m not so sure anymore. At least I can get really drunk I guess.
Genuinely don’t see how you recover from a fucking shut out in the playoffs. Dean is useless and didn’t deserve the extension, and now we’re stuck with him. We aren’t winning Friday, I don’t care if you downvote me or call me a doomer. This team is broken, and it will not be fixed next year or the year after.
This game doesn’t go south so quick if the refs don’t fuck us over with a bad call on Foligno.
It’s incredibly egregious at this point, and I sincerely hope the league looks closer at the officiating from this series. Even though of course they won’t.
Fucking pathetic, embarrassing, disgusting performance. Show some fucking heart.
Disappointed.
It’s over
You aren’t a wild fan if you are not completely used to this feeling..
I feel like we’ve been in this situation like a dozen times.. I’m not even mad.. this is just normal Wild playoffs hockey feeling..
Edit: I’m not saying I’m happy or anything.. just that evolutionary my body is starting to go in to “whatever” mode because I’ve never experienced anything other than what is happening in this series
Just please keep riding Gus… It wasnt his best game but I’m struggling to think of anyone that played any better while wearing a Wild sweater
Once again, faceoffs and special teams are going to sink this team. Also spending 16 million for our best players to get doubled in points by Hintz is great
I feel like going to Game 6, cheering for 30 seconds, and sitting down for the rest, to accurately demonstrate the kind of effort the Wild have shown me is appropriate when the series is on the line.
When does Kap come back from injury? We’ve really missed him this series
Different sport, same result.
Very disheartening to see the team basically give up just like last year. Embarassing
Ugly game from the time on of Steel missing on the breakaway early which indirectly contributed to Moose’s 5 and a game just shortly after.
Boys gotta put this one in the rearview just like they did with game 2. Game 3 was the best game the Wild played and it came after an asskicking in game 2 so hopefully the boys can right the wrongs of this clunker.
LFG!! Ain’t over till the final horn!
Year over year this puts me in a terrible mood, damn it man.
People love to blame the refs for this team’s lack of any sort of mental toughness. If you need every call to go your way to win, you’re never gonna win shit. You gotta get past the blame game, dig deep, and win anyway. This squad can’t do that. See ya next year.
Fire Evason at this point, ya know? Tank the worst buyout year(s). No point in these 1st round losses with us getting outplayed and outcoached every series.
So, I’m going to copy my paste from the main hockey subreddit here.
From the NHL rulebook.
50.1 Kneeing – Kneeing is the act of a player leading with his knee and in
some cases extending his leg outwards to make contact with his
opponent.
50.2 Minor Penalty – The Referee, at his discretion, may assess a minor
penalty, based on the severity of the infraction, to a player guilty of
kneeing an opponent.
50.3 Major Penalty – The Referee, at his discretion, may assess a major
penalty, based on the severity of the infraction, to a player guilty of
kneeing an opponent (see 50.5).
50.5 Game Misconduct Penalty – When a player has been assessed a
major penalty for kneeing he shall also be assessed a Game
Misconduct.
As a Kraken/Wild fan, I do not think you can honestly say Foligno 1) led with his knee or 2) extended his leg outwards. As the hitter, Foligno is responsible for his body though and there is contact, but for it to be a major penalty? I think that’s quite a stretch and unfortunately will instantly shift the narrative. You cannot punish the result in my opinion, but have to the intent. There was no intent there.
I caught a lot of flack about « intent » but to me, « severity of the infraction » also includes intent. Looking for everyone’s take here.
Just want to bring some positive vibes in here. Normally I’d knock all the doomers for losing it, but can’t say I don’t understand. Feels like the Wild finally brought the physicality they’ve been missing for years in a series where they’re being punished for it. Series isn’t over, hope most of you can bring good vibes into the thread on Friday. This is still our team, one of these days we WILL overcome this diversity and maybe change the direction of this franchise. Until then, do what you gotta do to endure Minnesota sports. For me that’s playing with my cats and playing Xbox. Peace!
I miss JEEK
All this sucks but maybe we will get legal weed passed this year…just trying to look for anything positive at this point.
Wes Walz is so mad. I share his anger. Once again, we will let the anger and disappointment flow through us. It is a familiar feeling, almost like an old friend at this point
Fire Darby. I don’t care if he’s one of us. He’s been the one constant on this team since he was hired with Yeo so I’m pinning blame on him too
Literal repeat of last year. Do some early damage with a greasy win and the opposing team taking some key injuries. Then the other team adjusts, Wild get frustrated and play a lot of special teams, get abused on special teams, and lose in embarrassing fashion.
This is why the attitude going into game 2 from coach to team to fanbase was maddening. You never go into a game with any attitude other than must win. Now we’re all sitting a must win from elimination.
Like I get we got completely fucked but Jesus have some composure and make us proud
