Kyle would never have liked something during the playoffs before. He’s feeling the passion

  2. CarefulSubstance3913

Specially when it comes down to it. He might just leave you catching so many lefts you ll be begging for right

  3. AustonChadthews

The Schennanigans have been better than anyone could’ve imagined

No one posting stats about hagel. Loving be so relevant.

    “Hagel… so relevant right now.”

  5. howsshegoin

im personally waiting for his fancystats to stumble so I can crow about the value of wet noodle puck moving dmen and be smug in my righteousness

Wow Kyle Dubas realized something we all did 5 years ago. It was great watching Tyson Barrie, Travis Dermott, Morgan Reilly & Rasmus Sandin play defence for this team.

Marc is not known to compliment Leafs.

It is crazy – the last few years you could almost describe Schenn as a journeyman, but he is playing lights-out for the Leafs in the playoffs. Nothing fancy, but solid as hell. Plus he’s big and tough and that matters in the playoffs when you have guys like Maroon taking liberties.

I wonder if Dubas wishes he’d bought into the ‘Leafs need to get grittier and tougher to play against to be able to win in the playoffs’ narrative a few years sooner.

Schenn was hammering everyone and still a force while the team was 0-2 and lifeless

Heck I wouldn’t want to be erased.

It figures the only time Marc Methot says something remotely nice about a Leafs player, he’s piggybacking another tweet.

« out of the league any day luke »

I realize the term « intangibles » predates metrics like xGF%, but its still kinda funny to boast about « intangibles » when they are showing that he is actually good statistically.

  15. beardedunicornman

Can someone explain to him that he’s describing tangible skills that are reflected in data?

  16. zainery

I often find myself saying Methot is an idiot with terrible takes. But like who the fuck am I to say that about a guy who literally played years in the league lol
